The room was spacious and cool. The owners are absolutely lovely - we had an awful trip getting there but were greeted with snacks and a cold drink and helpful information. Breakfast is really nice. The views are amazing!

It’s a bit too far away from things - you can’t really pop out for dinner or to a shop without getting a bus (very unreliable) or ferry or walking on the main road up and down hill to San Giovanni which doesn’t have much (everything was closed when we tried to get dinner at 8pm on a Wednesday). So if you don’t hire a car it be difficult to get around. Although the owner was super kind and drove us into Bellagio one night, which we were very grateful for!

Nothing to dislike

The property is up from the centro so it is quieter and has an incredible view. Everything was comfortable and clean and the staff was warm and amazing and have great recommendations.

We chose to stay here because of all the rave reviews and they were right! What an incredible place and hospitality! We got a great welcome with complimentary food and drinks. The room was clean and cosy, very soundproof! Breakfast was great. Great view to the lake from our private terrace. I have stayed in many accommodations before but I have never given a 10* rating until now so that should tell you something!

This is no fault to the accommodation, but the bus C30 by the hotel turned out to be a very unreliable bus for us, making it hassle to travel between the accommodation and other towns like Bellagio, and taxis were impossible to get :/. Nevertheless Giulio was there to drive us to Bellagio and back if needed :). Another con could be there are no elevators but again Giulio helped us with carrying luggages upstairs :)

Fantastic accommodation, Our room had an amazing terrace with spectacular views of the lake.. The lady who runs the place was amazing so friendly and very helpful with everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety of food. The little extras they provide such as welcome drinks and snacks on arrival and also a little gift when you leave are very thoughtful and were very much appreciated. Would also like to say an extra thank you for the umberella they provided to us when we was leaving. Highly recommend to stay at this property.

The location was close enough to walk to Bellagio , but much more relaxed in August. The owners are excellent. Our room was well set out and very comfortable.

No dislikes at all. Our room was up a number of stairs, so best to ask when booking if you have difficulty with stairs.

His responsiveness on WhatsApp was impressive, and he went above and beyond by spotting us waiting for a delayed bus and offering us a ride in his car. This kind gesture not only saved us from potential inconvenience but also ensured we made it to our anniversary dinner on time. Such acts of kindness truly exemplify the exceptional service that Paula and Giulio provide to their guests. The location is ideal, a mere 10-minute stroll from the San Giovanni ferry terminal, which I found to be a peaceful alternative to the bustling Bellagio terminal. The room itself was not only spacious but also meticulously cleaned every day, reflecting the hosts' commitment to maintaining a pristine and comfortable environment. In all honesty, our stay here exceeded all expectations. It was an absolute delight to experience such personalized attention and care from Paula and Giulio. Their dedication to creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for their guests is truly commendable. I've already sung praises about this exceptional Airbnb to my sister, who is planning her visit next year, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable getaway in a picturesque location. If i could give 100 stars, I would. The host was extremely generous, helpful and friendly, the rooms was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious with a marvellous view of the mountains and the lake. The location was near a bus as well as a ferry stop which made the transportation convenient and easy. The whole experience was excellent.

Absolutely nothing!

Location was good. Stunning view from breakfast terrace. Good selection at breakfast always fresh and tasty. Choice of cereals, juice, fruits, yoghurts, croissants, meats and cheese, jams, cakes, tea and coffee. Bottled water left daily in the room. Staff very welcoming and attentive.

Would have been nice to have a kettle etc in room to make a coffee/tea.

everything. from the facilities to the staff. Giulio is outstanding. his staff ( Paola) as well. made us feel like family. they welcomed us with wine and a charcuterie board and wonderful fresh breakfast every morning. will definitely be back.
