Possible Bed Bugs or Something....

I liked the location, it was close to restaurants and places to go. My family was supposed to stay 2 nights, but that didn't happen. The first night seemed to go well, check in was smooth and the staff was friendly. I slept in one of the beds myself, my daughter wanted to sleep on the couch and my youngest son wanted to sleep with dad because that bed was closer to the TV. Fast fwd to the next morning, I woke up and had a cluster of itchy bumps on my ankle. I immediately pulled the sheets back and saw what appeared to be the exoskeleton of some sort of bug. I went into the bathroom to wash the area on my leg and unfolded a towel to find what appeared to be another exoskeleton. I sent pics of the bite and exoskeletons to my sister, my mom, and googled it and it all pointed to bed bugs. We immediately packed up and headed to the front desk. I explained everything to the assistant general manager and asked her to come to the room so I could show her and she was happy to help. She said she was going to contact their exterminators and have them confirm the findings. And that's what would determine if we would be refunded for our stay. Three days later I received an email from the general manager and he explained that the exterminator they brought in said it wasn't bed bugs and per their policy I wouldn't be able to get a refund. So not only was I bitten by some type of bug and had itchy red bumps on my leg, we had to end our trip early because I wasn't sure what type of bug it was, but I paid money to get our clothes washed at a Laundromat because I didn't want to chance bringing bugs home.

I didn't like that the general manager couldn't rectify the situation by just refunding our night there. Saying they strive for cleanliness and guest satisfaction, and in my opinion they failed. As a guest I was absolutely not satisfied. Regardless of whether there were bed bugs or whatever, I was bitten by some type of bug and found bug skins in the hotel room and in the bed I slept in. Per policy according to the general manager, I wasn't going to be able to get a refund because they didn't find any bed bugs.

Convenient

Property was nice, clean. I had signed up online and picked a first floor room as I am on oxygen and have extra equipment. We were requested at the desk rather than using our digital key. And they put us on the 3rd floor. And our sink basin was broken. Other than that, great stay.

Nice 1 day stay, could be cleaned more.

The facility was nice and smelled great! The pool looked nice, even though we did not have time to swim. We arrived 2 hours before check in and they allowed us to check in early, which was lovely. We were given a different room that was ready. Breakfast was actually pretty nice with an assortment of options.

The bathroom in room 306 had a few issues. The trim was cracked and there was obvious grime that hadn’t been cleaned. The bathroom door did not close fully so the lock was pointless as it didn’t reach.

Comfortable Stay

Good Coffee. Large Clean Spacious Room.

Breakfast is already pre-prepared and wrapped, not warm and not tasty. The Omelettes are also pre-prepared. I cannot eat green peppers, not everyone wants to eat Huevo Rancheros. Hence butter bagel was my breakfast. Marriott gives its guest scrambled eggs, Beef and Turkey Sausages and has a much larger breakfast venue, plus great coffee.

Very satisfied

I liked the location and the look of the hotel and the cleanliness, staff was very friendly and everything was easily accessible. I also liked the room we had except there was no cooktop, that would have made by stay perfect.

I thought there could have been more choices of meat. Most of the bread and bagels were hard before toasting. Also, a spa tub would have been nice by the pool even though the pool was heated. I did like that feature.

Loved the look of this hotel, loved how big and nice the rooms was! Everything was very clean and had a clean smell. Staff was very nice! This is definitely gonna be my go to hotel!

The staff has to be the best of any hotel we have ever stayed at. It’s been 3 separate trips and each were perfect. Have a bad day walking in the front door and it’s gone by the time you hit the elevator. Thank you Omar and Aireyanna Thompson are so kind and helpful to everyone, can you please use these two for examples of what all guests should experience. We will recommend this hotel to everyone of our friends.
