Convenient to venue and restaurant choices close by.

Check in receptionist was quite harried and scattered. Didn’t come across as welcoming to us or the people served right before us that we could overhear the interactions. Also I requested a half hour extension on checkout time as I had a sick family member and was told no it wasn’t possible because the receptionist was being “hounded” by guests planning to arrive early that day. As we rushed out of our room, there was not one room service cart on the floor yet. Did not appreciate this interaction at all.

We actually ended up staying at this hotel unexpectedly because my grandmother became seriously ill and we needed a place close to the hospital. Even though it wasn’t the trip we had originally planned, the hotel made a difficult situation much more comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind, compassionate, and accommodating. They even offered us the hospital rate, which we truly appreciated during such a stressful time. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a great place to rest after long days at the hospital. The gym and indoor pool were both well maintained and were almost always empty, making them nice, quiet places to unwind. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options and was a great way to start the day. Although we didn’t have much time to explore the surrounding area, it looked very nice with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and many of Pittsburgh’s attractions were only about a 10–15 minute drive away. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything that stood out as a negative. We were focused on being close to the hospital, and the hotel met all of our expectations. If we return to the area under better circumstances, we would happily stay here again
