The history, architecture, comfortable room.
No double bed rooms. Breakfast options were limited. Delicious, but limited. Would prefer a healthy choice besides a yogurt. Banged my foot on the corner of the beautiful wooden bed repeatedly.

I loved the historical value and the way it was restored
The location was in a very bad area of town

its a beautiful old building but did not get beyond the front desk. The surrounding area is complicated to drive to but doable.
We found out on checking in that we put in the wrong day for the reservation. The man at the front desk was angry with us even though I said it was our mistake, I apologized, but did they have a room available? He was very angry and argumentive! We were told no they did not have a room. However after we left I requested Booking to see if we could get a refund and they said they would need to contact the management. The management gave us the refund which was very appreciated.

Very friendly staff at the front desk. Room was clean and well maintained. Parking was plentiful and free! The banana nut bread for breakfast tasted delicious! Nice fitness room with good water dispenser.
There's a train right across the street but I guess that's Pittsburgh!! Breakfast had to be ordered in advance and was a little small. Felt like the shower, although plenty hot, was a little small.

Tasteful, understated historic interior, quiet and serene atmosphere. Helpful and friendly staff. Easy walk to Warhol Museum and gorgeous National Aviary and super convenient full grocery store across the street (but, those who are not comfortable in an urban environment might find it a little intimidating, however I found it totally safe).
The breakfast is a bit perfunctory (to go boxes) and quite limited in choices (no oatmeal!) but pleasant enough dining , quiet and spacious

The history of the building made it really fun to stay in
Room’s weren’t terribly soundproof (there was a wedding below us)

I love this place! Both times we stayed were a good experience. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. I think every hotel breakfast should be done like the Priory. It is so nice to just pick up a to go box and go. No crowds, no lines, just grab and go.
Can't think of anything I didn't like.

The atmosphere and history of the building. The location allowed us to walk to the Steelers game!
We were here for a very short time. We didn’t experience any problems at all.

The building is beautiful. The room was very clean. Parking is free. It is a very short drive to Acrisure Stadium.
The shower was a little on the small side, but it's not something that would keep me from staying here again.

A beautiful old monastery right in Pittsburgh that has been perfectly restored as a boutique hotel, we stay here every time we come through the city! Its old deconsecrated church next door is a gorgeous event space as well, if someone is looking for that. The breakfast is order-ahead and simple, and tasty. In the nicer weather the outdoor courtyard is a great way to start the day. There is a charming & historic little bar in the lobby that we always want more time to hang out in!
The cleanliness and comfort leaves no room for complaint, I only wish there was less use of air-freshener in the common areas, as I am sensitive to perfumes & and strong scents.

The room could definitely use more lighting. Had to have the drapes open for the natural lighting which was a bit problematic since i was on the first floor and my windows faced the patio area.
Free parking was nice!
We really appreciated the shuttle service!

The check-in went well. The room was clean and comfortable and the building and surrounding patio where the meal was served was lovely. Very interesting place.
The surrounding street on which the hotel sits was a little concerning at first. But it turned out okay. I was wondering how safe it was. But nothing happened to us. I could see how it might put off some people. But the hotel itself was very nice.

Lovely location, enjoyable breakfast
Maybe a little more illumination for reading at night

Clean and elegant. Parking was easy to use. Comfortable bed and well appointed room.
Breakfast needs more choices- not just croissant for bread. And too much light coming into the bedroom from the street. No blackout blinds to make room dark.

The hotel was very pretty at night, and quite elegant. My husband felt that it had a 1920's vibe and that he should have been wearing a top hat and tails. Our room was cozy and a great place to relax. Breakfast was delicious and rather unique - at check-in you are given a menu/order form to make your food choices and give the time you would like to eat. In the morning, just show up at the right time, pick up your "grab and go" box, and be on your way - tables are available also.
The bathroom was a little small, but just an observation, not a problem.

Aesthetics and feel. Clean and comfortable stay.
The breakfast did not have any vegetarian or vegan options for a meal. I relied on fruit and coffee, which was quite underwhelming.

We had 2 rooms 3 adults and 2 kids. The rollaway bed worked fine for a child and was actually very nice. Breakfast and staff were great! A wonderful
place to stay if going to PNC or anywhere! We walked and enjoyed it. We will be back!

Interesting stay- fun to explore the old building. Also free parking. Rooms a mix of old decor (ceilings) and new (bathrooms)
Room smelled faintly like old smoke. Breakfast essentially sack lunch

Unique and classy. Not your typical hotel chain.
Location was a little sketchy at night but we used the shuttle and had zero issues.

The rooms were well-appointed, spacious and comfortable with very comfortable beds. Location is north so near highways and out of busy downtown area. Lovely converted monastery building with free parking and a good breakfast of hot sandwiches with other options.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. Rooms were spacious and the staff was very nice. The bagged breakfast was great. Way better than a continental breakfast at other locations.
The neighborhood. We were in town for a baseball game. We had intentions of walking to the park, but chose to Uber instead.
