Close to town and clean and quite
A bit stark. Could use some Cole, paintings or something to give it a bit more appeal

Relatively well located in quite neighborhood a walkable distance from downtown. Clean and pleasant if just a bit austere. I'd stay again and would recommend it to friends.
Interior could have been brightened up with color. Either paint or more art or something.

Located just a stone's throw from the centre of Calistoga
Cottage was dated and a little shabby

We were in town for a wedding where a lot of the festivities were in or near downtown Calistoga. Carlin's Cottage Court was an easy walk to everything. The room was basic but clean and everything worked well. The pool area/hot tub was also no frills but enjoyable. All in all a good place for way less money than other properties nearby.
The entire property is a bit dated but there was nothing of note to complain about.

It was a quiet place & was a few minutes walk to Town centre
The facilities were very basic.

The rooms and cottages are comfortable, clean, and charming. On e of our rooms had a living area and full kitchen, others had nice rooms and bathroom areas. It is quiet, clean and a nice pool and hot tub of mineral water.
We would have liked a vending machine for drinks and ice (which may have been available but we didn't see it).

Clean and quaint. I was hoping I didn’t have to share a wall. It turns out I did but didn’t hear anything. These older places were built better.
I thought they were separate cabins but it was my fault for not looking closer at the pics.

Really friendly welcome, very lovely spot, plenty of the chairs to sit outside with a lovely pool in the middle. Nice clean room

The cottage had everything we needed, and more - tv in the living room and the bedroom.
The pillows were all somewhat firm.

Small older recently refurbished cabin that was clean! Pool was fine too!
Tight parking but workable.

Nice space, great location, friendly staff, privacy, quaint, with very clean common space including pool and hot tub
Needed more kitchen utensils and kitchenware. Needed a fan in master bedroom. Windows would not open in cottage.

The swimming pool is great, with a temperature of 90 degrees. The bed was firm and comfortable. The parking space is in front of the door. The area is pretty quiet. It was cold outside, so it was nice to have a heater.
The person at the reception was weird. He told us that the jacuzzi was heated at 104 degrees, but when we went in the water was lukewarm.
The kitchen was very poorly equipped, with few things clearly coming from a thrift store. The shelves of the closet were dirty. Around the kitchen there is what once was was probably a deck. The deck was closed and cluttered with old stuff, all visible from the windows.

The cottages are clean and neat. The air conditioner was a bit noisy, and the decor a bit outdated. Bathroom sink was also small. The area is nice, quiet and walkable to the downtown area of Calistoga. Would stay again if we are up in the area.
Didn't need to spa tub, would have preferred the bathroom to be a bit bigger. Bathroom sink was tucked in the corner with very little storage...hard for 2 people to share. Also, the air conditioner was a bit noisy.

Good value. It would be a nice place to bring the family and grandkids for a few days’ stay. Everything is available for cooking (even outdoor grill) or going out for meals. The pool would be fun for the kids. The separate cottages great for the families to be close but have their privacy.

The e location was great
The jacuzzi smelt of sulfur so bad that we barely could stand it and they didn’t tell us anything about it until after I paid over 500 dollars for two nights. The bed was not comfortable. There is way better places for cheaper close by.

the BBQ facilities
the rooms were old.
the amenities poor,
i think that it doesn't match the price at all, it's a good place if you are looking for a bad and BBQ, but a bit pricey

The jacuzzi tub was huge in Room #1, it was clean, and Gina was so nice at the office. The location was perfect, close to downtown. They have a microwave, frig, & a small coffee pot. The bed was comfortable, and lots of windows for natural sunlight.
The sulfur smell from the tub water smells like rotten eggs. Although Gina offered a small bottle of oil to defer the smell, we needed many candles & more oils to take away the smell. There was no stirrer for coffee. Bring your own water, they do not provide for the small coffee pot. Another suggestion, to have flavored creamers.

We were given cottage #12 which had full kitchen facilities. While my friend and I love to cook, this would have been ideal if we were staying longer than 2 days. We spent 2 days wine tasting using the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce Winter in the Wineries passport. We tasted fabulous wine from nearby wineries. A great market nearby, CalMart has a deli with limited hot food, sandwiches & fantastic cheese and other accoutrements. We’ll definitely be back as we live only an hour away and belong to 4 wine clubs. We didn’t try the pool but planned to. The pool is heated but the weather was very rainy & cold.

I really liked the overall ambience- kind of traditional non-chain lodging. Put another way, it had a classic vibe like 50 years ago, but was completely up to date in terms of strong wi-fi, etc.
Very quiet, which I appreciate. It was great! The pool was really amazing, the warmest I have encountered since I don't know when, which I happen to like. Highly recommend.
The location, while convenient and unusually quiet, was a few blocks from the center of the Calistoga business/rourist district. Not saying that's a bad thing though.

I love the size and amenities of the property. It feels like home with a vacation feel.
I was not able to get Wi-Fi working on my laptop for some reason. I called but was unable to get any answers. I was just told that it works. I ended up using my phone as a hotspot.

The property had a cute vintage vibe. I liked the outdoor seating area, the pool itself felt great, and the room had a nice kitchen and comfortable beds.
It looked and felt older and more run down in real life than in photos. A window in our room was broken and wouldn’t close, which seemed like a safety issue. The TV wouldn’t connect to our streaming service and the remote was broken. The AC was very weak and our room was pretty stuffy. The comforter on one of the beds was stained. The pool area could have been better decorated to make it seem less like the pool was right in the middle of a parking lot.
