The sauna, heated pool, and hot tub were a delight and still available to use even though it was raining. The location was ideal for walking, the room was comfortable and the staff were kind.
Of course, we came on a holiday weekend so it was more expensive and generally a bit above what I would spend. More towel hooks/racks in the bathroom needed!

We have stayed here several times before. Very comfortable, clean and walking distance to downtown.
The room we had did not muffle the sounds from the next door room. I do not recommend room 14. Conversations, TV ugh!! it was not optimal for us.

Friendly staff, which a clean and comfortable room in a great but quiet location just off the main drag. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were all excellent and parking was easy.

What an absolutely delightful stay we had! The Inn is so comfortable and has been finished to a really high standard. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location is excellent, a short walk to all the fun Calistoga has to offer yet off the main road so wonderfully quiet, and the facilities are great! Complimentary breakfast, a hot tub and sauna (and pool but we didn’t use that) all made the stay that bit more special. And finally, last but by no means least, really lovely, friendly and accommodating staff who gave us great tips for the area, were happy to let us leave our car in the car park hours before we checked in so we could walk off and go wine tasting, let us check in a bit early and who switched on the sauna for us first thing (without us asking, they just noticed) because they knew we’d go in there after the hot tub and it would take a while to heat up! We’d definitely return.
Nothing. Absolutely loved the Inn!

Friendly and helpful staff, great location on a quiet street but very near to centre of town. Lovely comfortable room and an excellent breakfast
Nothing. It rained so we couldn’t use the pool but not the property’s fault!

We stayed in the big family room with King bed and pull out sofa and it was huge! Big bathroom/shower as well. This was perfect for our family of four. Also had a mini kitchen area with fridge, etc, and small table to eat at. We were genuinely shocked at how nice the room was. The pool and hot tub were a massive reason we booked this place and they were very fun and not busy, though the pool is quite cold! My parents have just moved to this area, so we will definitely be back and be staying here. I also LOVED all the staff. Everyone was so friendly and chatty. Breakfast was fab as well!
The pool was cold, but got used to it once in. We came over the August bank holiday, so prices were much higher than they probably should have been, but i understand we went during the holiday.

Loved the location. Very quaint and rooms were comfy and had everything needed.
We were close to the kitchen and sitting area, so a little noisy. I would just select a different room next time.

The quiet, off-the-beaten-path location with beautiful trees and plants all around; the clean and well manicured property; the convenience of being only 1 block from downtown.
The bed mattress was too soft and not supportive enough for my back, but otherwise the room and bathroom and kitchen area were all very cozy, well equipped, and comfortable.

Run by a lovely lady that made us feel welcome and so relaxed. The breakfast was perfect with fruit salad and homemade granola.

Comfortable, spacious and affordable room in a motel-like building in a quiet residential setting. Friendly staff and in a convenient location (very walkable to downtown Calistoga). Continental breakfast served in the morning (nothing fancy, but tasty and filling). Pool onsite although we didn't get a chance to use it.
While they let us check in early, 4pm seems like a late check in time.

The staff was consistently friendly, helpful and engaging. They all seemed to genuinely take pleasure in their work, in being there, and having the opportunity to meet new people. Plus, the location is within a block or so of downtown Calistoga which is a very entertaining and delightful little town. No need to keep driving once you are at the Inn.

Breakfast on the patio was lovely with a wonderful variety of breakfast offerings. Delicious!
Fluffy terry bath robes would be great.

Everything, but especially the warm greeting at check in. The manager brought me a robe knowing that I planned a quick swim, offered dinner suggestions, and I was advised that cookies were available. Room was quiet and the bed very comfortable.

Everything! What a lovely oasis in a beautiful location. I was quite pleased with my queen room. It was roomy, nicely decorated and had all the amenities I required. It was great at the end of the day, to sit outside and relax. Located in a quiet neighborhood with a great views of the mountains and the vineyards. Calistoga is a cute town and glad I decided to stay here rather than the other towns along the way.

Comfortable room and bed. Breakfast (continental breakfast buffet) was very nice. Tea and coffee available all day. The pool and pool area were nice. The whole area was quiet and peaceful. The hot tub looked yellow-I didn't go in, it may have been clean, just yellowed, but it didn't look appealing. We would definitely stay there again.
The hot tub did not look appealing, walls, steps, etc. were a yellow color.

Val was great, getting us checked in and giving us all the info we needed. Room was comfy and nicely furnished. Bathroom had great lighting, shower was older but worked fine. Outside seating for each room was terrific. We used the area along the pool for enjoying a glass of wine while the sun went down. Nice breakfast.
Shower was definitely old but worked okay. Had a big Jacuzzi tub that we felt was wasted apace.

The complimentary breakfast was outstanding. Our room was spacious and had all the comforts and amenities we could have hoped for. The bathroom as huge with two sinks and a beautiful shower.
The hot tub needed to be cleaned. We were excited to use it, but opted not too, as it didn't look recently serviced.

Customer service was impeccable.
Inn on the Pine is a charming little place to stay.
It has, in its recent past, gone through renovation and the room, breakfast area, and pool area are clean, fresh and well looked after.
The little extras - like cookies, fruit and filtered water - tea (of all sorts - which important to us Brits - stereotypical I know but true!) coffee, robes and towels for the pool, and drawers of board games to play - all a lovely touch.
You of course could stay at the more swanky places in Calistoga but I would save your money and book here, a gem of a place for budget and good old school hosting and treat yourself to a wine tasting instead.
The receptionist Gary who welcomed us treated us to the most genuine, warmest of welcomes - customer service wise the best we have had in a long time. So much so, if Gary was visiting the UK I would invite him and his wife to dinner at our home!
Cookies and snacks all day!
