Horrible from the start

Horrible signage. Arrived at night and no signs to where the officer was. Staff at the desk would not give directions to me on the phone. They hung up on me when I was asking for directions

The location was great and we are sorry we got caught in Miami traffic and arrived after dark. We had to leave early so we did not get a chance to enjoy breakfast there.

Unsatisfied

The location

The check-in process was unnecessarily time-consuming due to the setup requiring guests to report to a separate location rather than the facility they were booked in. This caused congestion, with multiple guests attempting to check in simultaneously for different properties. Additionally, the unit itself was not clean—there were visible black stains on the sheets, and the air conditioning was not functioning during our stay.

We found the rooms quiet and very clean. Breakfast was nice . Close to the beach where there were many restaurants and shops. Walking distance to water taxi in the canal system. 20 minutes from the airport

The only negative thing we have to say is when we arrived , we had trouble finding the main desk to check in/check out. It was not at the building we were staying in since It’s a big complex of many buildings. There are at least 23 buildings with different names. You need to check in at: Hollywood Beach hotels 1915 N. Ocean Drive St., Hollywood, FL

We Made It Work At Hollywood Beach Hotels

Proximity to the beach. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable and beautifully made. Big screen television. Nice shower and enough room to dance. Room was quite big. Nice staff.

I asked for towels in writing and at the location. Towels were not delivered.The lady who cooks the breakfast finally gave me the towels. Chairs in the room are a torture from medieval times. There is not a couch. There are no utensils, hand towels or paper towels. There is an itemized bill for thieves. Construction is modern but the furniture is old. The properly next door had people singing, playing dominoes and drinking really late. FYI is their property TOO!

Great and Quaint hotel

Rooms and Hotel recently renovated with an Italian villa vibe. I totally loved it. Short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and the Hollywood Boardwalk action.

I had an issue with the hed being a little soft....I'm sed to having a hard bed, so I woke up with a sore lower back..

Most surprising, and wonderful upgrade yet!!

The property is very cute, but we didn’t end up staying at the Casa Pellegrino, after all. At check in, they asked if we minded upgrading to their ocean front hotel (Casa is just one block off beach) and we said as long as it’s a clean room, we don’t mind. They gave us a 2nd floor room, at the front of their Neptune hotel, which was right on the Broadwalk! We had GORGEOUS big window views of the beach and ocean, from every window!! We were delighted! The room is nicely upgraded/remodeled and was beautiful. We were just staying one night to catch our early a.m. plane home, after our cruise, but I’d LOVE to stay in that room for a whole week!

This was a nice little place and I would stay again. It was very clean and a good location.

There was no breakfast included but we didn't need that. The location is great. It is very close to the beach.

I wasn't aware that the check in location was not at the exact property. We had a disabled person in our party so it made things a bit bumpier at the beginning but we figured it out. There was signage but not super obvious. I don't see my deposit refunded yet and it has been five days so now I have to go and follow up. Hopefully I will not have any problems.

Horrible

Absolutely nothing.

It is marketed as a Boutique Hotel and it is nothing of the sort. We paid $344 and I frankly would have felt $50.00 would have been too much. The place was a dump, it was loud, it was dirty, and breakfast was terrible. While there was a kitchenette, there was a sign that housekeeping does not do dishes, yet there was no dish soap. There is also a sign listing the price you will be charged for every dish, towel and piece of furniture you intend to steal. Don't bother looking for a kleenex, that is not included in your stay. I was hoping to have a cup of coffee from the Keurig, but pods are not included and they do not sell them at the lobby. I guess the coffee maker is just a prop and they're hoping you'll steal it since they can't afford pods on the $344 we paid.

Will never go back to Casa Pellegrino or any Hollywood Beach Hotel affiliate.

Location was 2 blocks from the beach, a few more blocks to other things like food, shopping, etc.

They do not provide coffee in your room, and if you ask for it they tell you to go to Walmart and buy it yourself. They do have a store in the office (if you can find the office via the signs on the buildings) where they don't sell k cups for the keurigs that are in your room. The rooms are really, really small. They have a huge list by the bed that explains the cost of anything you will steal that will be charged to your credit card...it's ridiculous, but apparently necessary in this neighborhood. If you value your vacation and time stay somewhere that is not a Hollywood Beach Hotel. The staff is extremely rude and when you ask for anything they act like they don't understand you. We actually paid to stay at a different hotel and left, even though they won't refund any of our money, that's how bad it was. There are a ton of AWESOME hotels in the area where you are treated well.

We've stayed at CP twice, but didn't realize it was under new ownership this time. This stay was so very disappointing. We can only say the location is good.

Over priced. Room floor was dirty, it was either freezing or cold, no complete towel sets. Phone number for Casa Pelligrino was WRONG on building sign and on email correspondence.

So much potential, not managed nearly as well as it once was. Nice location and patio area.

Was very inefficient check in...given the incorrect room twice. Room wasn't clean until after 5pm. Not maintained as it once was. Could be cleaned better outside and inside. Check in is now down the block. Pay attention to the small sign on outer wall of the building for instructions.

Great stay overnight before a cruise.

Breakfast was ok. It was outside at another property and a little bit difficult to find. It was very windy the day we were there so not great for outside eating. There was coffee, tea, juice and milk, bagels. Bananas and cereals available.

Office was always a long wait. Everyone was nice though. Couch was in a weird place where you couln't watch the TV. It should have been on the other side of the bed. For the kitchen there only a few things. The utensiles were just thrown in the drawer. Some metal in the bathroom were rusty. Sone of the light switches and outlets were sloppily installed and were and loose.

Very short walk to Hollywood Beach! Free and adequate continental breakfast. Handy to have kitchenette in room. Nice coutyard for socializing with other guests. Quiet for sleeping.

The old owners AREN'T THERE ANYMORE A CONGLOMERATE BOUGHT TONS OF PROPERTYS.Very very very disappointed if you stayed there under old owners you should not revisit. It's a train wreck, to see tons people walking around the property, not quant or private like the good Ole days, party central pot smoking smells will wake you up at night. WHAT A SHAME .Sorry to say we will never ever return to that property or any other that is managed through HBH Hollywood Beach hotels.Find a private hotel or large Chain.

I liked being on the north part of town clean, big room about 200 ft from broadwalk nice little patio to sit in

no longer a guy and his son greeting you and making you feel at home like some of the reviews. now part of the big chain of HBH and so you have to go find the office which is crazy busy and in another complex. they will charge you for early checkin. and I didn’t even attempt to borrow bikes etc as can be a crazy scene in there. breakfast not appetizing..just grabbed a banana
