Great location at what could be an amazing hotel.

Great location but hotel is a bit rundown and needs upgrades. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. Busy bar and live music.

Room needs additional light, perhaps a lamp or two. (one on night stand did not work). The room needs another mirror. When one is using bathroom putting on makeup, there isn’t another mirror for second person to use .

Great location right on the beach and a short walk from the restaurants, shops and attractions. Our room had a kitchenette. Tiki bar at the hotel was lively with music and karaoke. It was a great stay for the money.

Got to Love The Riptide!!

We enjoy staying at the Riptide whenever we are down in Hollywood! It is a Great location right on the waterfront! There is a great Tiki bar, tables on the patio, and the view of the water is Beautiful! We went to a Hockey game at the Arena, and it was a short ride away!

The property is located right off the beach with friendly staff and a cute little bar in the common area. My husband and I arrived early and the hotel was so accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage while we walked the boardwalk. We would definitely stay here again.

Riptide has great views right on the beach. The Tiki Hut was a fun distraction for happy hour and karaoke. The room was clean and comfortable

Had a great time on Hollywood Beach and the Boardwalk.

The location on the beach and boardwalk is excellent. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The entertainment and amenities outside were nice. The cafe outside was convenient. Parking close to the property is nice if you could get a spot. The room was very clean.

The property is very old and outdated and some rooms are very small. Would not have stayed if they did not offer to upgrade my room. The furniture in the room was very old which made it feel uncomfortable. If I did not know the area well and know it was a safe, I would not have stayed on the property. The discounted price of a room on the beach was worth the stay.

Ok. But the view and the location EXCELLENT

The stove was very old and dirty. The refrigerator very old. The closet door only work one side. We could even use the closet. The bathroom door was so hard to close and open. One of the bed was bad, the matress. I had to stay on one side of the matress to sleep. The rest was good. You should updated all in the kitchen, change the beds, frames.. very old.

I'm going to this place for 10 years ,I love the hotel

When I did my check, they gave me to do my different room ,I did my booked January and April Oscar, and one front desk people change my room for a second floor ,I was very disappointed because I choose 2 queen bed and the room i was only 1 bed and second floor , my husband is 74 years old, and I'm visiting the same place and same room for more than 10 year ,anyways i enjoyed my july 4..no any others better room at this time, I hope next year will be better

Little hotel in great location

Location was great! The tiki bar was fun. Ellie at the front desk was fantastic! Really helpful.

The door knob was not working properly (it’s old) needs a replacement. It was hard to open and close the door, using the keys. It got stuck several times.

Great, fun location

I love being waterfront and right on the beach. The location is great, just a quick walk to the sand. We set up in the morning and stayed at the beach all day. In the evening, restaurants are a quick walk away. The Tiki bar is fun, and the live music is great. I love this location, we have stayed two years in a row. Full kitchen is great to have as well.

The stay was perfect

This is my second stay at Riptide, and I definitely want to come back again. Everything is perfect – the service, the location, the apartments, the outdoor bar, the view, the surroundings. I highly recommend visiting Riptide – I’m giving it a 10 because that’s the maximum, but they truly deserve 100.

A group of 35-45 year old women looking to relax on the beach found the PERFECT spot!

The property is located on the quiet strip of the boardwalk. Perfect for sitting outside in the evenings watching the waves and stars. During the day the beach is not busy in this spot at all. You can actually go and relax. Plenty of room and spacing between groups to allow for privacy and relaxation.

The rooms are dated. Yes, an upgrade would be nice, BUT the cleanliness more than makes up for the older furniture and fixtures.

Never again, it’s a real dive

Very old in MUCH need of repairs and updating

Our room was the farthest form any access into the motel with very narrow staircases which was difficult with all our luggage. (No elevator) Although clean on the surface everything was very warn and old, especially the bathroom (bath/shower plumbing). No pool and we had to pay for parking $15 per day which wasn’t known at booking.

Needs a massive upgrade to justify the nightly cost. Location is part of the cost, but room conditions should be more important. It’s a Chevette impersonating a Corvette.
