Not one thing felt comfortable

The first thing I noticed was the cigarette smell as soon as you walk in the building. Then I spoke to the front desk and I LOVED him. Then we get to the room and it smells like weed. The floor had wet spots and grout everywhere. I reported it to the front desk , they apologized but did nothing. Offered nothing. The next morning the male room service knocked on our door at 8:00-8:30 timeframe for trash. I told him NO three times and he still proceeded to my room. Watch the video footage. There’s more but let me stop here

My husband and i came to stay a few days due to me having foot surgery, the manager and staff were very generous and offered me a shower chair and helped my husband carry me to my room after my surgery. And offered us more blankets and continously check on us.

Location

Terrible decor. Dirty room at check in, which was switched, but left a very bad impression. Furniture was all wrong. Chair blocking doorway to bathroom. Pictures behind TV. Carpet sceeved me out.Horrible bathroom. Beds made terribly with scratchy blankets inside the bed and sheets on top! If I was not here for my daughter’s graduation you would have had to pay me to stay here. ‘Breakfast’ inedible. It ruined my visit to Bloomington.

Nice Time in Bloomington

Very quiet and the staff was friendly the water pressure in the shower was amazing and very hot unlike most hotels

No microwave or coffee pot in our room but we did have a fridge also the windows didn't lock which was a safety issue i would think. I did notice the manager seemed to be very aware of the surroundings and what was going on so that was good. We ordered pizza and he questioned what that guy was here for.

I would hope to never spend another night at this place.

The regular room rate was $57 a night. I’ve paid approximately $300 a night. Not happy at all. The breakfast consisted of oatmeal, cornflakes and waffles. Not satisfactory for something for which I paid $300 a night. I reserved a room with two beds and of course that was not available and we slept in one bed. Not satisfactory.

Horrible Rip-off

This was the worst rip-off in my 40 years of international travel. Paying $275 for a room that is in the $30-40 range is the worst value-for money I have ever experienced (I have travelled 65+ countries).

Disappointing

The location is very convenient, and it's in the middle between the university, and collage mall.

The house keeping is very loud, and use the mobile in the morning between the rooms. He will knock the room door even if you put the don't disturb sign. He kept doing that in my 9 visits. The management can't do anything about it.

Overall I would recommend this place to travelers because you are near everything you need and the .

I didn’t take advantage of the breakfast because of the medication that I take! The staff did turn the juice machine on again so I could take my second round of medicine! This was a really good effort on their part to accommodate my needs!

The door to the room was sticking and the magnetic card was having a problem accessing the situation! Also a dog was barking for over 2 hours before someone got it to cease! The fact of a 100 dollar extra charge in addition to paying for the room. As of this morning I still haven’t received my money back to be credited to my debit card!
