Victorian Inn

I have been staying here for more than two months, in periods of about three weeks each time. The first time, everything was good. I had a good room with everything I needed. The second time, the room was smaller but still good. The only issue was that they didn’t clean my room for a couple of days. When I asked the receptionist for clean towels, he had an attitude and said they weren’t cleaning my room because it smelled like cologne. I asked if that was a problem, and he said yes, because the cleaning lady couldn’t breathe due to the smell. I told him that I do wear cologne, but I leave at 2 in the morning and the room is usually cleaned around 11 or 12, so it shouldn’t smell that bad. He said he didn’t know, that’s just what she said. Then I asked for clean towels, and he said he didn’t know if they had any clean towels available. I told him, “Hey man, I’m paying for a service and I expect to receive that service.” The third time, they gave me a very small room. It’s fine for someone who is staying for one day, but not for someone like me who is going to stay for a month. There are no drawers to put my clothes or my personal belongings, so I have to leave everything in my suitcases.

How the employees were smoking meth on the clock together in the next door room vacancy. Including cigarettes on the clock allowing family members to stay unpaid for rooms when asked they told me they were vacant. After being edu I walked down to check myself and indeed in use. They're conversations where inappropriate talking about turning jones tricks that offered and being asked by the non vacancys family members if they wanted to score on some fetty a street drugs that murders on one puff. I took it as a threat. Because I was nosiing around complaining about the smoke and I found meth baggies in the drawers on my baby's side. He's in elementary. I didn't like how every last one of them where related managers included. It's a beautiful hotel and met the standers for imagine that it nothing more I was highly upset

The staff were friendly

The bathtub had cracks in the bottom so I didn’t feel safe using it. The heating system was so loud it sounded like the jets flying overhead. I tried to turn it off but was unsuccessful so I had to unplug it. The bed was so high I had to use a chair to get on top of it. I’m 5 foot 6 inches tall. The insulation between floors was nonexistent. I could hear every footstep, water running and voices from the people upstairs.

The room was simple but clean and cozy enough. I enjoy the more nostalgic aspects of the property. It was very easy to get to and the staff was exceptional.
