Very neat and clean.
One of the staff we saw during the night shift on the 24 of December, at around 8:30 pm. I couldn’t see her name because her hair covered her name tag, but I could see her name started with "T". She was a girl with long hair and greenish eyes. She had checked us into the room and we got up to open it our room key wasn't working, so we had security open it for us. When he opened it, there was a woman inside staying there.
We found out she had checked us into the wrong room. I think this is overall bad service from staff and it is dangerous because if the person staying in there had felt threatened, and had a weapon, we could've been hurt.

Access to restaurants, casino, pool and gym.
Very noisy neighbors and the sound propagate easily between the rooms.

Facilities are good.
My room was very close to elevators, so sometimes noisy during sleeping time too.

I liked that we were in the tower with a view of the city.
The middle elevator was not functioning correctly.

Not what it not used to be.

The bed and pillows were comfortable
Heat in the room would have been a major plus! A coffee pot would be great along with a microwave!

Close to downtown Reno and very close to freeway entrance
Sound proofing can be better. You can hear the traffic noise from the freeway

The Room was spacious and clean; however, the bed was not comfortable. Hard and uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well. The Pillows were good, big and they held your head well.
I checked in early and got a great high room.
The restaurants they featured I only ate at the Oyster bar way in the back We had a clam chowder the fish tacos and the fish and chips be warned they're enormous especially the fish and chip it looks like a whole fish they caught and the fish tacos in coleslaw are amazing The other restaurants I did not eat at so I cannot comment
Well, my only complaint is that Starbucks is their only coffee at the hotel, they were very expensive. Not the usual expensive pricing Starbucks charges. $9 $10! for a special coffee. This is insane... In your room they do offer the K cups to make coffee in your room they will bring you I guess a coffee maker for that but they'll charge you I believe it's 8 or $9 so I didn't attempt this.

The rooms are nice and clean. We got upgraded rooms and we were happy with them.
All the staff besides the front desk were really unhelpful. The island grill was horrible, I couldn’t finish my food. It was oily and smelled bad. We couldn’t find any bar that could make up cocktails, they told us we had to wait for the bartender to start at 4pm, no one else was able to assist us with our drinks. The smell inside the casinos are is horrendous, there’s no proper ventilation. The ambiance overall was very unpleasant, I couldn’t wait to get away from this hotel.

The view was awesome. Looked over the train distribution area. Amazing to watch in the morning.

Nothing to really dislike

That it had an indoor pool
The pool was so murky, I couldn’t see the ends while swimming laps. A pool should be sparkling clean. This was disgraceful, probably a health hazard.

The room was good size and beds comfortable.
I was not notified in any way that the pool would not be open. That was the only reason we choose to stay outside of downtown.

Dislike how pricey hotels are along with the late check in times

Not a whole lot. It’s gone downhill with the new owners
Was told that our room was recently renovated but it was the old room. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. Floor tiles coming up. Reported these issues with front desk. No longer coffee in the rooms! Wait time for eating anything there was a joke. Hour wait for Rosie’s then to be told it’ll be another 30 minutes. Only two servers and the “manager” holdup the wall for 45 minutes as we wait at our table. Food came out cold!

Very Spacious
Bathrooms need updating, Events shouldn’t interfere with elevators who paid for rooms. My wife had to wait 30 min to get down and we’re not allowed to use stairs to get down

Our room was very nice!
The bed was extremely comfortable. Will stay here again!
A little road noise was heard. I put in earplugs.

no coffee pots in room. Very hard to sleep with the loud traffic from the road was in room 1211. For the amount I paid I would've expected something nicer so glad I was only staying one night

I liked the clean room and the late check out.
That the heater/cooler did not have an automatic switch off when temperature was reached.

We stay at the Nugget regularly, and always enjoy the experience. One of the reasons we keep coming back is the easy parking; with a safe parking garage connected by skywalk to the hotel, it makes traveling with children much less stressful. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time.
Instead of reserving space in the parking garage for hotel guests, the Nugget sold parking in the parking garage to concert-goers for $20 per car. This filled the entire parking garage (all 5 floors), leaving us with nowhere to park when my child and I came back to the hotel after a long, busy day. I asked at the check-in desk where I could park, and they suggested trying the open casino parking lot, which they assured me had spots. It did not. The parking lot closest to the casino was full, so we then tried to find a spot on the larger, further-away lot. There was not a single open spot, and there were no other areas to park. We ended up driving around the lot for close to forty minutes. We finally got a spot when another car pulled out, after which my child and I had to walk through the dark to get to the casino. By the time we got to our room, it was after 10:00pm - we had originally arrived back at the hotel shortly after 9:00pm, meaning we spent almost an hour trying to park. We were EXHAUSTED, and incredibly stressed out. I have never had a parking experience like this as a hotel guest, and it makes me very nervous to come back to the Nugget.

It was clean and lovely. We loved going downstairs to nice restaurants and not having to navigate the streets
A coffee machine would have been nice

Some of the employees were super awesome. The people that worked at the valet. Kicked butt, very friendly and amazing.
The food was amazing. The horseshoe bar tenders were great
Some of the employees Sucked, i asked for a towel and never got it, i asked for a extra bottle of water for my room, never got it.
I wish they would of had rooms with walking handicap showers, using a bath tub was so difficult and unpleasant. And I was told they dont have any. So unfortunately I will not be staying at the Nugget again.

Room overall was fine-we had to stay here in a pinch, knew they had parking for our RV as had stayed previously
The whole place overall just isn't for us- smoky, worn down and just not that great

It didn’t have breakfast.
I didn’t like the fact it didn’t have breakfast. And also it didn’t have cold water in the shower. The filter heater/fan seems filthy dusty.
4.0 / 10.0
It was in a good location, rooms were clean.
Air conditioning didn’t work both times we stayed, tub was always clogged when taking a shower. Price for the room was little over priced for the experience.

The staff was nice. There was a Starbucks inside the resort. TV worked.
I had to switch rooms because the neighbors reeked of weed. The room I was then transfered to smelled like it was cleaned with dirty rags. Ordered a coffee maker for which I had to pay extra but I had to call 5 times to get it. Got it the next day, and it wasn't functioning. Couldn't enjoy the pool or hot tub because there were many non-guests.

The amenities on site and the location were great. The casino staff was fantastic.
The room I was in had traces of smoke smell even though it was a non smoking room/floor.
There was a dog that was barking constantly upon arrival.(the staff did get it taken care of fairly quickly)
The valet staff was rude and not helpful during this stay. (The weekend before the staff was outstanding and it was the busiest weekend of the year)

I like that they have an indoor atrium pool and an arcade.
I didn't like that they had roaches, the whirlpool didn't work in my room. So we were switched to another room, after switching to the next room the TV was broken. Didn't want to switch again and they didn't want to switch out the TV because they didn't have anymore. The maintenance checked a double bed room found a TV and switched it out since I was only stay for one night. The new room bathroom was also dirt and nasty. The atrium pool looked nasty and cloudy the lounge chairs were dirty and oily looking. The whirlpool buttons were broken and no information on how use it. Had to carry my own luggage down because when calling to obtain valet/baggage, I was told I needed to come down to the counter and take care of it. The hot water had a browish green tint you had to run the water for 10 minutes to get a more clearer water. The toilet tissue handle kept falling off as you get tissue. The floor tile bubbling in the casino bathroom.
