Perfect for solo traveller

Perfect for a solo traveller. If you're coming from the airport catch the 8 bus to the transit centre then it's a 3 minute walk (you can see it clearly). Whilst an older motel the king bed was super comfy and downtown is a short walk or utilise the transit centre to purchase a day pass to have easy access to all bus routes (for places like the Indianapolis Zoo or Indianapolis Motor Speedway). Whole Foods Market is about a 5 minute walk and has great food options for the health conscious.

My only qualm was the shower hot water wasn't very hot. But I'm more a splash and dash person so it was okay

Stay away

Tried 2 rooms. There was no hot water in the first one and the second one the heater blower was going out. The sidewalks around the property were not shoveled Ind had ice. Going down the Galway was dig poop on the carpet. The elevator had no certificate of inspection. We left early and went to a different hotel.

Overall stay was just ok.

I liked the location because it was walking distance to where I was going and I like the size of the room and parking was very convenient.

Well what I didn't like was when we first arrived in our room the toilet was clogged and front desk had to unclog it. The heating unit didn't have batteries in the remote control so front desk replaced the batteries while we were not in our room! Staff also had it placed on air and not heat so I froze all night. I also had to go back to front desk for sheets, covers and pillows for the pull out couch.

Quick stay only

The location is great, you can walk to downtown easily, and it’s close to restaurants and bars.

The hallways were smelly, the bathroom faucet was loose and the sink was clogged. The room had not finished renovations, and the parking garage had water leaks throughout the whole ceiling.

Nice place to stay, clean and affordable

Location was nice, free parking was a huge bonus. Rooms were very clean, the beds and pillows were amazing.

I didn’t like that there wasn’t a bathroom door that actually shuts it only had a sliding door that barely covered the doorway so anytime someone used the bathroom everyone could hear unless you ran the water in the tub, the windows need replaced badly because you can hear EVERYTHING outside, the breakfast was a nice attempt but it wasn’t very good.

I liked the location. The room was comfortable.

I was woken up at 9am by drilling and apparently construction on the elevator. There was no regard to guest comfort when it came to noise in the early am. Front desk staff just said "Sorry. They are working on the elevator." I guess my Do not disturb sign was just a suggestion.

It was in a good location.

The facility was unclean and the room smelled of mildew. I didn’t stay 5 minutes before my wife and I asked to have our money refunded and went to another hotel. One staff member was in his pajamas, and the other was dismissive when I complained.

Best priced hotel in this location of Indianapolis!

Very comfortable bed and the room was very nice. Perfect hotel if you’re needing to go to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. It’s a super short walk!

The shower was the worst part of the room. The spout was loose and coming off the wall. The vent was very loud. Soap dispensers were so high up! Also the water pressure wasn’t great because the pull thing wouldn’t engage all the way and I was worried the spout would disconnect from the wall! Only other complaint was the breakfast. Very limited selection of food options

Perfect one getaway location for a downtown event.

This was a quick trip for us to visit our son and go to a concert. The location to the venue and access to downtown was perfect for this trip. It was a quick 24-hour visit to Indianapolis.

Was not in town long enough to fairly evaluate what could have been better or worse. The location and price completely met our needs for this trip.

Great place with a wonderful set up!

The comfort of the bed. The way the room was set up. It was spacious not crowded. The TV was nice sized. The room had great heat and cool air.... (it was set to 74 that to hot for me).

How thin the walls are. How breakfast was served at 7am on Saturday. The bathtub was small. The parking wasn't clear and you had to walk up the rap to check in after parking. Their wasn't a ride to the TV hard to find a channel to watch.

Location was good for me for where I needed to get to. The breakfast was ok but can do with more options.

I had a baby in a stroller with a suitcase and 2 carry on luggages, there was no one to assist me taking up the luggage, the young guy when I checked in said he couldn't take them up for me and gave me a cart. How was I to take a cart and stroller upstairs, so I refused the cart and struggled with my stuff up the elevator and down the long hallway. However, later that night he came out of the elevator with the said cart, I could have only assumed why he had the cart. Also the elevator is too small in size and it needs to have both elevators functioning together.

The breakfast was really good. Location was good but after a NBA/WNBA game when traffic was very heavy it was hard to get back to the room due to police closing some roads and construction.

Close to Gainbridge for a very good rate. Not the best of the best but the price reflects it. We will always stay here when going to gainbridge. Staff is always so friendly and helpful.

Yes, I would stay again and refer to a friend or family member

My original room assigned was not cleaned up when entering the room. I contacted the front desk, they apologized for the mess and assigned another room. I was very pleased with.The place was clean and staff was very apolite.

The only problem was that we had no wash cloths in either rooms for the 2 day stay. Were told by team members that they were in the laundry and will make sure we had them before the day was over. But we never received them.

Not much. Elevator was from 1930; Staff (other than front desk) could not speak English; room seemed to have been remodeled but they used the old pluming parts; barn door for bath room worked but seemed stupid.

Not terrible for an overnight stay, but definitely not worth the price.

The location was convenient, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was a good size and tidy.

The elevator is outdated and very small. The tv in the room was not working/ would not turn on. The pillows and bedding were not very comfortable. For $300/night I would have expected a little more - at least a working tv. I also did not like that the bathroom door doesn't shut completely or lock.

Disappointed

The quickness to move us to a new room that has AC that worked. The front desk help was great! He was a very nice young man.

The first room didn't have working AC. They could only move us to a double bed room. We were there on an anniversary trip so having two separate beds wasn't ideal. There were no towels in the room. When we asked for towels they were only able to give us one body towel, two hand towels, and a floor towel. We never got any more towels. The top of the bedding was stained on both beds.
