Great stay in a great location

The location was great! We were able to walk everywhere. We used the bikes too which was fun!

The room was quite small. There wasn’t even a chair so we didn’t spend any time in the room except sleeping.

Comfortable and Accommodating

The property is well maintained and is beautiful with the courtyard and flowers. Our suite had pretty much everything we needed with extra supplies easily accessible on the first floor. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen were large. Our view of the water was beautiful.

Carrying luggage up to the third floor was difficult.

A nice hotel for a short weekend getaway.

Beds are nice, and it's in a fantastic and easy to get to location.

The unattached bathroom is weird and unsanitary. No staff onsite, I didn't see any staff members until we checked out.

Definitely plan on being back!

Quirky and quiet! We had a rooftop patio to enjoy the sun and drinks on. Location was great and right in the middle of everything to do. Shayla went above and beyond helping me make our stay special on very short notice helping me get champagne and flowers set up with less than 24hrs notice!!

Not having anyone at the front desk took a little adjusting to, but all in all the check in/out experience was simple and fast.

Great time to travel to San Juan’s. Midweek in July. We came from AZ to get out of 115 degree weather. Drove around the

1 block from most restaurants in town. Very clean and convenient.

The hotel itself was the cutest thing ever! It’s right in the heart of Friday Harbor. With its location being right in town, it still had a very private feel too it! It was very clean and comfortable. The bedding was very nice and we slept great!

Housekeeping was a little sporadic. The “do not disturb” signs don’t have very well on the doors, so they would fall down when trying to shut the door resulting in housekeeping walking in on us a couple times.

We enjoyed being close to everything.Bird Rock needs to disclose there's no elevator and no staff.

Great location

We didn't like the fact that nowhere in the room descriptions does it say that there is no elevator. Being older, it's not easy going up and down 3 flights of stairs several times a day, especially with luggage. It would have had an impact on what room we had chosen so, it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Not once during our stay did we see any staff members to answer any questions we may have had or maybe help us with our luggage.It would have been nice to have a staff member there to help the older guests.And also, there was no breakfast.

I did not realize it was a shared bathroom from the booking. If you dont do the online check in, the check in is at another hotel. But this is obly 2 Blocks away, so not to bad either.

Decent Stay

The room was clean.

When booking I didn’t select a room with a detached bathroom but was somehow given that type of room. I was very uncomfortable with this. I then called and was informed by the hotel property staff that I could purchase another room for more money. I explained to her that I selected the room with the bathroom while booking and was given a price for a room with a bathroom. She responded by saying that the property may not have the correct room description on booking.com. This should not be the guests issue and should be fixed on the site immediately.

We were in a room on the top floor and despite a ceiling fan and floor fan, it really was an oven.

Sweet place - quiet, great location close to ferry. Staff was very responsive and the remote check-in was flawless. I'd come back in a second.

The room includes access to a nice patio/balcony. But it does not have a window that can be opened for fresh air. At night, I closed the glass door so the room was a little stuffy.

very clean. super comfortable bed. a nice private terrace for coffee in the morning. perfect location to downtown shops and restaurants and the ferry.

i thought a little bit expensive - even if it was really clean and well-located.
