Fairfield Inn and Suites Columbus Polaris

The room was set up so you have a bathroom, a sitting area and the sleeping area. Very functional, comfortable and clean. There was very little noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms. We didn't try the breakfast since we were meeting family for brunch but it looked plentiful and tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful

The only thing that wasn't perfect was our view of the entrance overhang but we weren't there for the view so it really didn't matter 🙂. It was truly an enjoyable stay and we will use Fairfield Inn again!!

It was good. there was a nice selection of food choices. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodated all our needs.

The room was stuffy, and the air would not come on had to open the window. drain in tub was broken and there was some type of dirty residue under sink. You could see it while on potty. Price of room could have been better.

Dirty, no staff, no coffee or toilet paper.

Nothing because even though we had a RESERVATION a through booking they gave our rooms away and we had to go off somewhere to look for another hotel with a list that they gave us! No one wanted to take their dumb paper.

That even though we BOOKED 2 ROOMS through booking they didn’t reserve them they gave them away!!!!

Well I had to tell them three times I need towels and I even told them if they wanted to clean the room why we were gone and come back the room was the same

Breakfast was ok, nothing great. No butter avail for waffles & potatoes were under cooked, some were so old they were inedible.

Beds are uncomfortable, things poking through.

Food was good. However, the coffee didn’t get refilled enough

I held an executive king size room on reservation with 2 queen size beds for me and a friend. Instead I received a suite with one bed and a sofa bed. Friend had to sleep on sofa. However, I liked the room rate better.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Room was quiet with little noise from neighbors beside, above, or below.

We had to change rooms because the first one gave my husband a backache. He felt like the head of the bed was tilting down. Flashing light on the alarm system by the bed was a constant annoyance throughout the night. Refrigerator in first room was so noisy we had to unplug it. Toilet seat was a round one - which is very uncomfortable for men. Flashing alarm light was in the second room too. This bed felt like the sides were tilting towards the middle of the bed. Improvement in toilet seat to an elongated one. Nice! We stayed in this hotel in 2019 and had an excellent experience, which is why we chose to stay here again. Sadly, this experience wasn't as comfortable as before. Biggest issue is that the staff could not find our reservation upon arrival. We booked the room through booking.com. Apparently they put the last name as "and Greg" instead of our last name. I don't understand why our confirmation number didn't pull up the room when the last name didn't work? Makes no sense. Anyway, someone finally found it and got us checked in without further trouble. I'm pretty sure this issue can be blamed on booking.com and not the hotel staff.

There is no sun blocking curtains on the window, and room was facing the illuminated parking lot. The room is old not renovated, the mattress is old and cheap. Wouldn’t recommend.

The experience was exactly what I expected from a hotel at this price point. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The beds seemed new-ish with clean linens. Breakfast included yogurt, pastries, waffle bar, and hot food like eggs and sausage.

The shower was a little dirty - some soap scum stains on the shower curtain and there was some mold/mildew in the shower itself. A small annoyance was the small television. Personally I don’t have a TV in my bedroom and watching TV in bed is a favorite when I do stay in a hotel. The TV in the room was small and slow to respond to the remote.

The food selection was good, but the staffing in the dining area was always behind in getting the hot food out in a timely manner, which kept causing a line up and then by the 4th or 5th person, then the hot food items were empty again.

We didn't like the fact that we had to keep waiting for the Hot Food items, we would go back to our table and wait and by the time we could get thru the line again, it was out. The second day of our stay ALL items in the food bar was also continually out, we just got frustrated and went back to our room. This also included the coffee carafes also! On the 3rd day of our stay we decided to forgo our breakfast at your dining area and got it somewhere else! Also besides the dining. We had a KING SUITE, but the bed was certainly not large enough for a king. The bed was positioned to almost shoved against the wall...I had to walk sideways to get into bed, there wasn't enough room between the bed , the wall and the air conditioner. When we checked in the guy was running the vacuum and it was so loud we had a terrible time trying to hear the clerk, but he didn't offer to shut it off.

They are always welcoming and facility is very nice.
