The staff was friendly

Location was terrible. Sketchy, backed to an abandoned building. I did not feel safe staying there. The walls and floors were paper thin. Could not sleep because of the noise from I 35. Could not sleep due to person above us walking around heavily all night. So much so that the pictures on our walls would rattle when they took a step. The hallways had a weird natural gas like odor. There was also something that irritated our eyes and respiratory system in the room. The elevator panel looked liked someone tried to pull it off. The grounds were unkept. No grass or plants, full of weeds and trash. There were also loose screws scattered in the parking lot. The only mirror in the sweet was the mirror above the bathroom sink. No full length mirror. The soap dispenser in shower was hanging off the wall.

Our stay was wonderful from beginning to end. Loved the breakfast.

Located in an area that had everything around it that I needed and close to where we were going

Nice hotel, clean and well decorated. The staff was very kind and let us check in three hours early so we could take a nap before heading to the football game which was wonderful after driving in early morning.

Clean comfortable room great friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast had a good selection & the ladies were very friendly.

Throw pillows to sleep with

The air conditioner worked good and the room had a lot of space.

The lighting was terrible especially in the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable and they gave you throw pillows to sleep with. You couldn't even prop yourself up on the bed with those things. I kept losing satellite connection on the TV. You could hear all the noise in the hallway and the doors would slam shut when you went out of the room so you could hear doors shut up into the night.

This is my 2nd bad experience with a Hampton Inn in the past year. I don’t know that we will continue to use Hampton Inn

Location for our purposes

Shower door would not stay shut. Lenses to light cracked. No security latch inside room. Hot water in sink took several minutes to come through. The towels were rough. Breakfast was terrible: bacon was not unrecognizable-pressed and weird color, sausage was like slim jims, eggs were not real.

Two nights for the total eclipse

Location good near main roads and restaurants. Breakfast had a wide selection of food. Staff were helpful as first night we were in a room which faced onto the UPS depot and during the night we were woken by numerous beeping sounds and engines of the trucks reversing into the depot. On the morning we asked reception if there was another room we could be moved to and they moved us straight away. Thank you.
