Moldy bathtub. Dirty floors. Seemingly ancient building. And that's all somehow, to me, excusable, however, the road noise from the highway all night was UNBEARABLE. That mixed with the super lumpy mattress and pillows, I was unable to sleep at all.

Strange experience. When I went to check in, the manager said the room had been cancelled earlier in the week, due to a plumbing problem. Fortunately, a room was available, so we had a place to stay. But I wasn't told the reservation had been cancelled earlier. On top of that, they demanded a credit card payment, even though I had prepaid through Hotels.com. The manager said I had to contact Hotels.com for a refund. I asked why they wouldn't do that for us. Didn't they tell Hotels.com that it had been cancelled? Strange

There was nothing that I liked about this property. The walls were dingy, the towels left in the room were dingy and hard, my dog has better towels at home. The AC kept shutting off all night causing the temperature to fluctuate the whole time. The blankets felt like curtains, and one of the bedframes made a loud sound when you'd sit down on it. The faucet water was almost in a slimy state and could have made someone sick. The walls did not keep the sound of passing traffic out. Would not recommend.

This is the nastiest, most disgusting hotel I have ever step foot in. I had checked in and sat in the room for less than 5 mins and went to the check out counter and demanded a refund and checked out of the hotel.

1st: they said our reservation was cancelled but we never got notification of this. They said they let expedia know, but we booked through hotels.com. 2nd: they said they did have rooms and would honor what our quoted rate was, which was a good thing. 3rd: room appeared clean, but the one pillow and bed looked like someone had laided down on it, the sheets and bedspreads had cigarette burn holes and the floor wasnt swept. 4th: the a/c dial to regulate the temp was broken. I had to use my fingernail to get the temp to turn colder. 5th: advertisement stated had a continental breakfast, but when I went down to get coffee, was told by the clerk they dont offer any. 6th: the clerk was sleeping when I came to get coffee and was back to sleep when we went to check out.

My stay was terrible oh the guy slender to my name and says he had to give a refund twice or five times yesterday because of my truck and because of the homeless people that hang around his property I have talked to a lawyer this morning and I am very very carefully sorry for this but the thing of it is he made me wait seven and a half hours before I could check in to talk to him after paying for my room online through y'all and then he tells me all of this that it's my fault and all this stuff that he had to give a refund when his rooms are nasty dirty not clean when I take into my room at 7:00 last night I had to clean it went to the office several times to get my towels and toilet paper which nobody answered the doorbell or came to the window I am very tired of this place I have paid a lot of money at this place for my family and I've had too many bad experience I need my money back with this I tell you I'm sorry but if I am not refunded I will tell my lawyers to proceed in the lawsuit at the econo Lodge of slandering my name thank you, again and again I rented it again last night after my week's day that I paid for I put it in my old man's name which is William Mondey and he is the one that check in last night I need to be refunded of this or but I also need to talk to somebody about this thank you

The room was terrible. Walked in and there was a dead roach on the floor. Floor was dirty. Couldn’t figure out how to turn on the lights. The light switch turned on the microwave! You could see daylight thru the door jam, the door didn’t feel secure when shut and the peep hole was just an empty hole. There was no way we could stay. This room and property looked nothing like the photos. We checked out as soon as we found a different room.

At check in I was given a room with a sink clogged with mud and no working phone. The next room was a little better but the phone also didn’t work and the TV didn’t either. The bathroom had the previous guests dirty washcloth hanging on the shower head. There were men lingering outside our door drinking beer and yelling until after 1am. I couldn’t move hotels, no refund available. The next night more men drinking in the stairwell, outside my door, and in the parking lot. I didn’t feel safe going from my car to my room at all. There was a lot of middle of the night yelling and revving engines. There was no “breakfast” as you can’t even enter the lobby at any time. This is not at all a safe place for families to stay. I fully understand, you get what you pay for, however this was not at all like the pictures and things that were advertised were not offered.

Property needs to be updated , concrete stairs are old and anti slip pads are loose and dangerous to step on especially when wet, Rooms smell, some of the appliances didnt work in the room , hair dryer short circuit and burned in my hands. Front lobby can not be accessed and locked at all times you can only speek to someone through a small glass window, an weired crew was filming in room 111 looked like a pornographic video was beening made! And the odor of burnt marijuana in our room was horrible! I called the Manager and he made it seem like i was the one smoking the crap!! We did not stay the remainder of days we reserved and found a different location to finish our vacation.

This place is absolutely disgusting. I’m so sad we had to stay here. There was no cold water, only hot. Burn holes in the bedding, bugs on the floor. And when we walked in the room, it looks like somebody had already been laying in the bed. It was so incredibly discussing. I thought, wow, is this a rough neighbourhood? But it’s not, I think the receptionists lock themselves away, to protect themselves from the customers. This place is so bad. When we walked into our room it stank of smoke, even though it was a non smoking room. There were holes in the bedsheets and holes in the top cover - looked like cigarette burns. Of course, there was the obligatory light bulbs out. When we went to heat some food in the microwave there was a plate of green, hairy pasta in it (see photo). Even after I threw that away, the state of the microwave was disgusting. We couldn’t figure out what was going on. This place is so bad. It’s like everyone has just given up. The room was so dirty. You may say, what do you expect. It’s low budget, but we’ve traveled around the US for 5 weeks and stayed at 2 other Econo lodges and this was off the scale in terribleness. I’m never staying in another Econo lodge. Not taking that risk again

I didn’t expect much with booking a cheap motel, as I have done many times before for even cheaper rates, however I was so disgusted I couldn’t even sleep. The bedding smelled strongly like sweat, the whole place was dirty, the bathroom door was smashed and broken in, there was a car air freshener hanging on the AC unit I’m assuming to try and mask the smell of cigarettes? I didn’t even feel comfortable taking off my shoes in the hotel, and truly considered sleeping in the truck instead. There was two flat sheets, no fitted sheet, and some sort of mattress pad that was stained with yellow spots all over. Because there was no fitted sheet, I guess they expected me to sleep directly on the mattress pad? I’ve stayed in many discount hotels in the past and definitely wasn’t expecting much, but any halfway decent person would not enjoy staying here. If I hadn’t gotten in past midnight I would have looked for somewhere else even if I had to pay for two places.
