Overnight stay for daughter's Ring Day at Texas State. The hotel looked old and repairs that were made looked low quality. The shower water never got hot, just very low warm. Also, you could not the water to completely shut off, there was a small steady stream. The TV streaming was lagging it was powered by Roku device.

I’m at this hotel every week and it’s the best deal in town. Very friendly staff, breakfast has a pretty good variety and it’s very quiet. It’s in a good area as well. Plenty of restaurants and Walmart, if you forget something, is right down the road.

This Comfort Suites was an older location which was a little rough around the edges. The shower pressure wasn't nearly strong enough. All that being said however, the free breakfast was excellent, better than more expensive hotels we've stayed at, and the breakfast staff replaced the servings regularly, which was great! Also, the beds were comfortable. So all in all, if you can look past the older appearance and don't mind a weaker shower stall, this is a very budget friendly option for your family.

The photos online were not the same as the location. None of it. The building does not even remotely appear to be the same. It has broken and missing parts in the ac units on the outside of the building. There is rust lines just coming down oozing off the walls on the outside. The parking lot was in terrible need of repair. But the inside, OMG the inside.. reeks of mold and mildew. The wallpaper is falling off the walls, the room options that I was shown? Yeah, both rooms had broken furniture. The walls were ALL scuffed, pieces of drywall were just poked out like actual holes in the wall and not to mention the water damage visible. This place was actually seriously so bad that I couldn’t stay here. That tour, was one of what nightmares are created from. Save your money and stay elsewhere please. I immediately asked for a refund, and was told that it’ll have to wait until morning because the “management” was the there at 10 am the next day. Again, I refused stayed here due to the health hazard and awful / terrible conditions of the property. The worker of the front desk said that they did not have access to “third party” stuff to approve my cancellation. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had booking any place.

The room was run down. The chair in my room had no leather/pleather left on it. Why would I pay that rate to have an office chair that looked like it belonged in the dump. I even took photos of it. Everything in that room looked damage, old and worn out.

Upon arrival the staff was friendly, we then went to our room and instantly smelled of mildew. Went to use the bathroom and could see mold and the bathtub was all rusted, my asthma immediately kicked in. Went down and asked if they had another and they were booked. We did end up getting refunded.

Elevator wouldn’t change floors. Our bedroom floor carpet was wet from wall to wall. A/C wouldn’t adjust…it was either freezing or off, no in between. Worn out carpet in stairwell.

The bed cover had boogers stuck to it, and there were cockroaches present. The carpet was sticky, and several rooms nearby were partying loudly in the hallways. An absolute terrible experience! Hotel clerk was Not available at all we had to wait over an hour total to even get the guy to come up front to check us in. Then he basically called me a liar and said that we weren't waiting. Which his cameras on the property will prove that we were and I also have video myself. There were boogers on the bathroom walls and the bed side table. The bathtub was filthy and the water in the bathroom sink would not turn off completely and the television did not work We Never received breakfast either days as well. So so disappointed!

Upon arrival i found that family who arrived the day prior had asked thst their room be cleaned & then finamly resorted to cleaning it thenselves I checked in and found my bathroom dirty. The outside of the hotel had several broken air-conditioning units. The grass was overgrown. The pool was GREEN. The ceiling had leaks and there were several trash cans out to catch the rain water. I spoke to front desk staff when checking out shortly thereafter & was told all the info would be relayed to management. I was there on site for only an hour or so. The room was not used or disturbed. In addition my son did a check in by email or text and was charged $120. I visited with expedia early the next morning by chat & was advised to call the manager. The manager said she had not been told about any of it. She agreed to refund my rapid reward points for my stay. The $120 for my sOn's room, and a partial refund on the family who artived a day early. I have yet to receive my rapid reward points.
