Poor Renovation Project Planning and no consideration of noise effect on the guest experience.

The room and facility were excellent. The breakfast was the best out of all the hotels we stayed at during our road trip.

Unfortunately, the hotel did not plan adequately for construction noise during renovations. We were booked in a room right below a room that was being renovated. Starting at 8 am every morning, including weekends, we were awakened by loud banging and the noise of heavy furniture being moved. It is our opinion that the hotel was more concerned about revenue than the comfort of the people staying on the floor below the rooms being renovated. I spoke to a couple of people who said they were leaving earlier than planned due to the noise. I talked to the front desk, and they did offer a room away from the noisy area, but since we had events to attend that would keep us away from the hotel during the day, we opted not to go through the hassle of packing everything up again after we had unpacked. I've been to several hotels, some very famous ones, undergoing renovations, and they always closed off the renovated areas to guests. Shame the lack of management during the renovation project; this was a great-looking hotel.

everything else subfloors rotting out in room bathtub not draining and black stuff washing back up from drain old run down pool NOT heated as claimed breakfast not good construction being done in hotel and it was very loud but this was never disclosed (before or during the stay)

Breakfast mediocre. Also happy to be offered another room when the first one had shower issues.

Online booking indicated Accessible room best offer so we booked it. Shower hose kept spraying toward wall or floor and could not be adjusted for height. Water ended up all over the floor. I complained and we were immediately offered a room nearby so we moved.

the noise from above was uncontrollable lots of running jumping. notified desk 2x and still didn’t quiet down. we stayed for my elderly mother was having heart valve replacement n to get rest before surgery yeah that didn’t happen! I understand children but as a parent myself I taught my children to be respectful of others.
