The location was great!

When we got there, their systems were all down and we could not check in so we had to go to the birthday party and come back and check in before we went to bed. We had reservations for a king suite and when we got into the room, there were cockroaches everywhere! They did give us another room, but it had two double beds in it, the beds were awful. At least there wasn’t any cockroaches! I did not even want to stay there however we had already had a couple drinks and that was the whole reason for getting the room.

It was not what I was expecting for 250 to celebrate my baby birthday and swim

They breakfast was great everyone in kitchen was friendly. They check-in was terrible they didn’t have a room ready for us fora hr and then tried to change my room from double queen to something else wasn’t happy the guy tried tell me I booked thru a 3rd party. After they already took my money

They was they gave us a room at 7 and then couldn’t even use the drink tickets. They tried to tell me they hold our stuff to swim cause they room wasn’t clean.

Breakfast was good. Room was comfy.

Evening snacks were pitiful. Potato chips were an insult. At least you did have some tomatoes and celery. I stayed there last year for the gymnastics meet. The Friday evening snacks were wonderful! But not this year. When I asked the waiter if there was another table of appetizers (last year they had several tables), he told me that if I wanted more, I would have to order it from the menu because this was a restaurant. I also hate that there is not an easy way to unload your car.

Overall, it was a great trip and location.

The breakfast buffet and omelettes were not as good as usual at our other Embassy stays.

The staff wasn’t the friendliest and the room could have been cleaner. I had to move from our first room due to a strong bad smell.

Night reception and morning breakfast were good. The wait staff was friendly and helpful.

Arrived around 6 PM and our room still wasn't ready. Waited an additional hour. Overall the place had a dusty smell- can't quite pinpoint, but the air was so dry it was difficult to sleep. The room temperature was set and we could not adjust it.

Incredibly disappointing.

My room smelled like mildew. The bathroom was atrocious. Obvious water damage that has not been repaired. The shower faucet wasn’t even attached to the wall. The grout was filthy. The carpet smelt. The air fresheners pumped in can’t mask the smell.

The ups and downs about the hotel

Food was excellent Mrs delta makes the best omlettes....facility was very clean staff was super nice....amazing view to the city loved my king suite

The pillows where to soft ....so made my neck hurt and the TV in the living room channels didn't get good reception...they offered two free drinks for two but you can't checkin til 4pm and the drink tickets are only good for 5:30pm to 7:00 pm so by the time I got situated and settled I missed the time frame for the free drinks they need to extend the time frame longer...also need to include visible food menus in rooms of what the kitchen has to offer.. Because the only way to see a menu and what the hotel has to offer was to scan a little bar code that was on a table In the living room with your phone so if your cell phone didn't have a bar code scanner you where screwed

The stay was phenomenal to say the least.

The cleanliness of the property with open bar concept and omelette for breakfast is all my wife talks about. This is our second time at this particular place and it’s better each time. Although a bit pricey from the last time we were here but to put that smile on my wife’s face was well worth it.

It was not clean. Bathroom had someone’s hair, hairpin, a spider. Some of the shampoo bottle and hand soap bottle fell off from the wall before I used anything. The time I was here the water had to be shut off from 11-2pm. Necessary repairs I suppose. The AC kept running. It was set to 67 and room temp was always 71. Difficult to stay in sometimes because of the humidity/heat outside. Bed comfort was not the best. Disappointing for a four star hotel. The quality and standard was just not there.

Not how I wanted to spend my 60th birthday!

Well the shower head was facing outward so when I turned on the water it sprayed me and all over the floor and it wouldn't turn so I had to take a shower while water sprayed all over the floor. Then I had to use the towels to get up the water so I contacted the front desk for new towels and even explained why and NEVER got the towels. The sink was dirty and this was a stay for my 60th birthday! What a disappointment!

Just really wish I had more time to spend in such a nice room as we didn’t get much time there.

The breakfast is worth the extra money for the room if that’s something that is important to you. It is a full buffet style breakfast. My husband was super impressed with the made to order omelets, my daughter in law doesn’t eat pork-and it made her feel so welcome that they had both pork & turkey bacon & sausage on the buffet. She was just so happy to eat meat. It is the little things that make you feel like you belong and matter as a guest. Parking was super easy, location is great. If you don’t have a car there is a Cincy Trolly in the area.

Nothing-no complaints. The only problem we had as the beds are super comfy and high. My father has Parkinson’s and I didn’t realize he had trouble getting into tall beds-due to loss of mobility in his arms. My mother is older and she had trouble getting into one too. My dad rolled off and got hurt, but that is not the hotels fault. So not sure if the hotel can take requests for stools for shorter or older people..I never thought about it. So if you have some challenges like this-as my parents do, or special needs person, or shorter etc-you may want to ask about how they can accommodate.

Nice hotel - understaffed at our visit.

The breakfast was good. I would like to commend the lady cooking in the kitchen. I didn't catch her name but she was awesome!! I love the location.

The biggest issue I have was they were vastly understaffed. This caused many problems - areas not as clean as they should be, hard to get help with problems such as towels for the pool and room, waiting a long time for questions about procedures to be answered, and we had to check in late because our room wasn't ready. Some of the staff in the breakfast area were rude and unfriendly. Lastly, and this might just be me, the lighting in the room was inadequate. Even with all the lights on the room was shadowy and fairly dark. I also didn't like searching around to find the switches for the lights.

Stunning views, friendly staff, delicious food

The staff were very friendly!! When you first come in on ground level you have to take the elevator up to the actual lobby. We had a river view room and could see Cincinnati across the river. We did have some issues with the water in the shower heating up and staying warm. Also, we had to put the heat to almost 80 to have it be a decent temperature in the room. However, again the staff were all very friendly. The food at breakfast was good. I would suggest having someone wipe down tables and sweep floors as people leave. The food we ordered at the bar our last night was amazing!! I got the slider burgers which were amazing and my husband got the buffalo chicken sliders and the squash and zucchini. It was so good!! Overall it was worth the price for two nights and we would stay again.
