I like the shuttle from and to the airport

It was absolutely filthy! So run down and not what is portrayed as in the pics online at all! We wanted a place for a few hours to shower and sleep in between flights. The tub had blood all over it and they had thrown granulated bleach in it and didn’t even scrub it out . Hand towels and towels were hung back up on the towel rack with blood on them as well. We took pics and showed the front end staff at checkout . I will not post pics due to the fact they have agreed to reimburse my full stay please contact them immediately as they say they can’t do so without going through you guys !

Only thing was heat in the room when it kicked on super noisy staff was great was trying to get ahold of the desk to advise URBER was coming but very short staffed only one girl on and for over 40 minutes no-one answered called had to call Moxies and the guy went over to see what was going on

Basic accommodation near Vancouver Airport and IKEA

The shuttle from the airport was right on time and delivered us to the hotel about 15 minutes later. The receptionist was efficient and we got into our room before the 'official' check in which we very much appreciated. The room was quiet, clean and quite large with ample room to pack our suitcases. That said, the room is pretty dated and the carpet had certainly seen better days. We made a quick trip to IKEA using the bus that stopped just behind the hotel. We had no trouble getting to sleep but I don't know if that was because the bed was so comfortable or because we were so tired having been on a 13-hr flight. The hotel is probably reasonably priced for Vancouver where hotel prices in general are crazy. However, we have a hard time thinking that the room we had was 'worth' about $300. This hotel is okay for one-night but not suitable for longer stays.

The room we had was clean but felt 'tired' and dated. There was nothing that made it feel remotely luxurious or unique in any way. It's basic accommodation, that's all.

An excellent spot

Absolutely loved the place. The rooms were very well kept and cleaned up just as nicely upon request. It's also a pretty convenient spot as a hub to get ready to traverse around the city. I would definitely stay here again.

We really appreciated the front desk staff helping us our room. They went above and beyond to change our room. I have anxiety and the the room I had booked was at the end of a very long hallway. Because of my condition I could not stay in that room. The staff instantly found a suitable room for us. They really took care of us.

We just found the hallways to be narrow and too warm. I have anxiety and need to find a hotel with wide hallways. Nothing can be done about that I understand, just our perspective.

The 2 men at at the concierge. We requested for a room clean up since our room has not been cleaned for the past 3 days of staystarting 8/28 Manager or the 2 men at the concierge said clean up can only be done at 11;30 till 5pm when the second crew of cleaners are scheduled to arrive.Totally unacceptable and the reason was whatever clean up scheduled policy was in place. No regard or courtesy for .client Request. Other hotels can clean up room requests as needed.. ...

Our stay was awesome as the room allowed us to stay like we were at home.

We liked that we were able to go to all the places in Richmond easily and quickly. We were able to go to the Richmond Mall and to places where we could eat good food for meals. We could go to Walmart which was also close by.

The times at the pool were limited in the evenings/night. Every time we called reception from our room we did not get through so we had to take the elevator down to speak with someone. The coffee at the reception was very limited.

Very comfy and convenient stay for the airport

The staff were most helpful in storing our large baggage for 3 nights so we could make quick trip up country before staying at the hotel - that saved us a lot or aggrevation for our mini trip. The separate sitting area from the bedroom was most agreeable and comfortable.

Great hotel for the value!

A big thanks to the receptionist Suraj. He was courteous and patient. We arrived early and was able to check-in immediately. To our surprise , we were upgraded to a loft bedroom. The room is clean, spacious and quiet. We rode twice on free hotel airport shuttle The shuttle is comfortable. There is a huge Chinese supermarket across the street. Costco is 8 minutes walk away from the hotel. You will see Tim Horton on the way to Costco. Bridgeport skytrain station is 20 minutes walk. Bus #430 is two blocks away. It can take you to 49th Ave and Victoria Drive. We had a wonderful stay!

I wished the shuttle bus will arrive and depart on time.

The Sandman was economic and clean. Staff were very friendly.

Moxie restaurant did not take into account people who say they have allergies to some foods actually can not eat that particular food. The staff did not need to see a near death experience in their establishment. The waitress specifically asked for ingredients in certain foods and stated that I could not eat the bun or burger so I changed my order and still received food I could not have. Other than the food everything was fine.

Avoid if you need the shuttle!!!!

The hotel itself was nice. They upgraded me to a nice suite. HOWEVER, I waited 90 minutes for a shuttle pickup!!!!! The hotel is 10 minutes from the airport, and their shuttle runs at 5 after and 35 after. I missed the first one, and the second one, knowing I was there, came early and left IMMEDIATELY!!! I called and asked they send him back right away, but they didn't. It's always a problem when you call and reach central booking, who then connect you to the hotel itself. That adds 8 minutes right there. I had been in transit since 4 am EST and I didn't get to the hotel until 10:30pm PST. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR THIS REASON ALONE!!!

Clean. Front desk staff friendly. Did repair broken items, but that doesn't fix the nights awake. No apologies or offer of rebate of any kind. Just that it would be fixed. At least the next guest will have a better sleep. Liked the pool but the hot tub did not work. Coffee maker in room did not work well. No basic things in the room like a corkscrew.

The beds were very, very small (less than double) and it was a tight squeeze for a family of four. At that price, there should at least be 2 queen beds. The climate control was broken and rattled keeping us up. The bath didn't drain well. The beds weren't very comfortable and the bathroom was very dark which made it difficult to get ready. We requested a room refresh and it never happened so it just stayed messy and beds unmade.
