Big comfy bed
Bathroom was cramped and the toilet was very low.

The location to the airport is extremely convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was convenient and the food was decent.
The free airport shuttle was awesome, not having to plan that is a relief.
The rooms are very outdated and dark. I think a renovation is overdue. The carpets are kinda gross.

the place is so dirty. We found the cockroaches in the room. The swimming pool is awful as well. We were not even there to put a foot into the water.

I like the shuttle from and to the airport
It was absolutely filthy! So run down and not what is portrayed as in the pics online at all! We wanted a place for a few hours to shower and sleep in between flights. The tub had blood all over it and they had thrown granulated bleach in it and didn’t even scrub it out . Hand towels and towels were hung back up on the towel rack with blood on them as well. We took pics and showed the front end staff at checkout . I will not post pics due to the fact they have agreed to reimburse my full stay please contact them immediately as they say they can’t do so without going through you guys !

Only thing was heat in the room when it kicked on super noisy

was trying to get ahold of the desk to advise URBER was coming but very short staffed only one girl on and for over 40 minutes no-one answered called had to call Moxies and the guy went over to see what was going on

The shuttle from the airport was right on time and delivered us to the hotel about 15 minutes later. The receptionist was efficient and we got into our room before the 'official' check in which we very much appreciated. The room was quiet, clean and quite large with ample room to pack our suitcases. That said, the room is pretty dated and the carpet had certainly seen better days. We made a quick trip to IKEA using the bus that stopped just behind the hotel. We had no trouble getting to sleep but I don't know if that was because the bed was so comfortable or because we were so tired having been on a 13-hr flight. The hotel is probably reasonably priced for Vancouver where hotel prices in general are crazy. However, we have a hard time thinking that the room we had was 'worth' about $300. This hotel is okay for one-night but not suitable for longer stays.
The room we had was clean but felt 'tired' and dated. There was nothing that made it feel remotely luxurious or unique in any way. It's basic accommodation, that's all.

Room unkept. Bed unclean. Hair from previous guest within the sheets. Had to sleep on top of bed covers. Room far too small for price charged. Very poor look on the Sandman brand.

Absolutely loved the place. The rooms were very well kept and cleaned up just as nicely upon request. It's also a pretty convenient spot as a hub to get ready to traverse around the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Location was close, reception was welcoming and accommodating, dinner at hotel facility was perfect and, since we had to leave before they opened for breakfast there were several restaurants open within a couple of minutes drive.

Poor handyman style maintenance. We were disappointed for the cost of the room as compared to the overall condition of the room. See handyman comment above. The room was adequately cleaned but they are definitely not spotless.

We really appreciated the front desk staff helping us our room. They went above and beyond to change our room. I have anxiety and the the room I had booked was at the end of a very long hallway. Because of my condition I could not stay in that room. The staff instantly found a suitable room for us. They really took care of us.
We just found the hallways to be narrow and too warm. I have anxiety and need to find a hotel with wide hallways. Nothing can be done about that I understand, just our perspective.

We liked that we were able to go to all the places in Richmond easily and quickly.
We were able to go to the Richmond Mall and to places where we could eat good food for meals. We could go to Walmart which was also close by.
The times at the pool were limited in the evenings/night.
Every time we called reception from our room we did not get through so we had to take the elevator down to speak with someone. The coffee at the reception was very limited.

The 2 men at at the concierge. We requested for a room clean up since our room has not been cleaned for the past 3 days of staystarting 8/28 Manager or the 2 men at the concierge said clean up can only be done at 11;30 till 5pm when the second crew of cleaners are scheduled to arrive.Totally unacceptable and the reason was whatever clean up scheduled policy was in place. No regard or courtesy for .client Request.
