Fun, but I don't think I'd make it a regular location to visit for the price point in off-season

The pool was great (but a pain to walk between buildings to get there), food was really good and the casino was fun.

Not enough lighting in a pet friendly room. Was very dark. Labelling could be better, impossible to find the pool without asking people.

Great location but needs updates.

Amazing location at the skytrain, perfect location to stay when attending a concert or event downtown as you can just hop on the train without worrying about parking downtown. Great restaurants and nice welcoming lobby. Lovely staff. Pool looks great too.

Bed was uncomfortable unfortunately - mattress very very soft and squishy so no support offered. Pillows were huge and firm so unfortunately I awoke with neck pain. The fridge had not been properly cleaned from the previous guest and it made the entire room smell strongly of durian as soon as we opened it. For the price, this wasn’t what we expected.

Convenient but overpriced

Location is incredibly convenient, staff are helpful and kind, and the pool and slide are fun, but...

Pool is frigid, and the soundproofing is horrible. I barely slept due to hall noise and noise from the rooms next door. The pool is out of towels half the time and there's no functional place to change at all in spite of having such a long distance to travel. Room service is convenient and relatively fast, but the food is horrible and way overpriced. Overall, the value isn't there for what you pay at all.

The room had a patio which was nice.

The bathroom was missing shampoo, only a couple of towels and could not adjust the temperature in the room. Could not get ahold of staff on the phone so had to go down to the lobby a few times.

Terrible hotel

Everything - they switched us from the hotel tower which we specifically requested to be casino tower and framed it as an upgrade. I believed we’d still be in the hotel tower. Then the phone and thermostat in the room didn’t work. The room was dirty and freezing cold. We told the attendant early that there was a problem and she said she’d send someone up but then she didn’t and we waited several hours than I had to use my cell phone to try to call the front desk. The front desk person was super unfriendly and unhelpful and rude. She did bring us a heater and offered to switch our room but we had an infant and it was 2am and I didn’t want to repack all our bags, we ended up repacking all our bags and leaving early because she was so unfriendly to talk to. The room was also dirty with hairs in the shower and the bathtub was not clean!

the interior is probably a little dated for some, but i expected that for the pricepoint. I would have loved a bathtub, but not a deal breaker, as there is a hottub on the 2nd floor.

Our room was fairly noisy. Seemingly we were beside the HVAC system, and the humming didn’t stop all night. It’s a little too bad the only late night restaurant is in the casino. IE no kids allowed.

Where the room was located, in a separate tower, walk through the rain, no bell service to assist with the bags, requested a room with two bed, but the hotel would not accommodate, settled for a room with one bed, due to lack of other hotel options. We tried to go in the hot tub in the morning before check out. There were so many children in it and the poo. We could barely get into into the hot tub and once we did we couldn't move or sit down so we left. Was disappointing that we were not able to enjoy the pool amenities

Riverrock made my sons and I feel special on our first family vacation.

We LOVED the waterpark. We were chosen for a room upgrade to the penthouse suite. My young boys loved all the extra room and the feeling of being able to say they stayed in a penthouse suite.

The penthouse suite only had one bed. The pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable so the three of us had to share one king size bed. There should be a cot available for a more comfortable experience

Chose a pet friendly room, when arriving at the room there was dog food and water bowls and a fresh dog bed in the room for your pet! We’ve stayed at a few pet friendly hotels and never received anything for our dog. This was a great touch!

I may consider staying at River Rock Casino Hotel again

The overnight stay price was reasonable for our family. The rooms were decent-sized, each had a TV, beds were comfortable.

Buffet was too expensive, food selection, presentation and taste were blah. The free parking is too far a distance to the hotel and it’s not even connected, you have to leave your car, walk through the casino (present your ID, kids cannot enter casino side) and if you have children under 19 you have to walk outside the building and enter through the other entrance.

Convenient transit hub right at hotel - no need for car on ferry!

We were delighted to receive a room upgrade on arrival and really liked having a 1-bedroom King suite. We also enjoyed the service and food on the outdoor patio restaurant, adjacent to the buffet. The best part about staying here is the convenience for public transportation such as bus to Tsawassen ferry or skytrain to downtown. You do NOT need to bring a car on ferry if you walkon, take bus to Bridgeport and stay at River Rock.

The service counter in the casino was understaffed and both the spa and the buffet were unreachably expensive. It would be amazing if a small convenience store like 7-11 or Lawsons was onsite.
