Would stay again

The proximity to airport was great, and they have a shuttle shared with the Hampton. It does not operate during mid day so watch schedule. But if you have to uber its around $10. Its super cute from outside. Right across the street from Costco, and 8 minute walk from Tims, Dollarstore and Michaels (although construction at the time, so not easy walk if mobility issues) Nice to have a breakfast included, which had hot and cold. Fresh fruit, eggs, yogurt, etc. Not huge but much better than average selection. And attentive staff in dining room who were friendly and helpful. Parking lot available but very busy. Restaurant right next door, but we didn't eat there so can't speak on that. Keurig-type machine and kettle in room. Large counter in bathroom and tall tub large enough to bath in, if you choose. Was able to leave luggage at front desk as we had a later flight but needed to check out. Late check out was available but we didn't need. Beds were comfortable, heater worked great. Flickering light in bathroom was replaced promptly.

The bathroom was not accessible, ie have bars in shower. The shower had good pressure and not slippery but made it difficult for entry someone who has mobility issues. There are apparently no accessible rooms in the hotel, but upon booking the response said it did. Bath towels were terrible - not absorbent at all. Wound up using the hand towel. That was my only real issue - all else was good.

Its decent, but could have been better.

When we arrived, the receptionist was unaware of our reservation, and it took more than 30 minutes for us to check in. She didn’t inform us what went wrong and just requested information. Kinda fell frustrated as we were on a long flight.

The smell of the room, its an old building but still it would have been nice to enter room with a clean smell.

The Hotel is dated and the decor is rather mish-mosh There are some beautiful Antiques that line a hallway next to tacky pop machines. From the add, the Hotel looks like an Old Scottish Inn, yet it's connected to an Asian restaurant. One would think a British Style Pub would be more fitting? The Breakfast is not worth the vouchers. The Croissants are stale and the scrambled eggs tasted like they came from a box. The Abercorn Inn could use a sprucing up.

Bed was comfortable. Entire facility is old and tired, but it is very reasonably priced. Breakfast offerings are good. Shuttle service good, punctual. Staff generally friendly and helpful.

Great at first until we looked closer.

At first glance it was good. The first staff we worked with was very nice when we checked on. The bed was super comfy.

The night staff on the second night was rude to my husband.When we were getting ready the morning of check out my husband picked up an earbud that I dropped which slid under the bed. He was shocked to see how dirty it was. There was a pair of slippers garbage and a used condom. We were pretty shocked to say the least. We submitted a request to hear back from the manager but haven't yet.

The location was convention. 15 min drive from downtown Richmond. There was food a few minutes drive from the location. Staff helpful in general information and print services.

Nothing much to dislike. It's an older establishment but modernized to be functional. The rooms have all you would get in a regular 4 star hotel. Gym, restaurant and breakfast. Parking.with overnight pass. Gym had all the basics to get a workout. Vending machines on the ground floor with an ATM. I like all the Scottish decor that gave character. I think a business center would be nice as it's covered in to an office.

First we were told we would have 2 qween beds when we arrived they wanted to give us a queen bed and a hideabed couch and I had to show them what they had told us before they gave me what I was quoted

It served its purpose

We chose this hotel because it has a shuttle to the airport and an attached restaurant. It served its purpose and the women at the desk were friendly and helpful. Finding a nice long walk along the river was a nice break from the noise of traffic and the Costco across the street.

The electricity is so old and over burdened that it was impossible to charge our phones or hearing aids adequately. A king-sized bed is really too large for the room.

The first room they assigned us had a very musty, bad smell. It was on the second floor. The second room was better, but the carpets were old and need replacing.

Ok for airport.

Accommodation has a free shuttle to airport and to restaurants on site plus a Costco across the road. Room was large and breakfast to go available if you're leaving for airport before breakfast starts, consisting of a muffin croissant yogurt apple and apple juice.

Accommodation is old and tired in need of refurbishment. One of the restaurants a music at weekends which could effect the rooms above. About 15 minutes walk from bus interchange. Not a lot around locally.

The location was good for us for what we needed and it's a 10 minute walk to the sky train to go to the city. Breakfast was as expected. The staff were polite, kind and engaging. Our room was ready before check in time which was a bonus.

Our room wasn't the cleanest.. Hairs in the bed and the toilet needed attention when we arrived. We requested a quiet room (hard, we know when close to an international airport) but our room was located close to the laundry room. We asked if this would be an issue noise wise and were told laundry finished at 10pm which was fine but they came on automatically at 4.45am as I was woken by the hot water tank refilling a few times. Felt the hotel was expensive for what we got. Bathroom door didn't close properly either.

The shower was awful, clearly not well maintained facilities. They gave us coupons for a free drink if we bought a meal at the restaurant, which at first we thought was great until we got there. The tickets were only valid for entrees and all the entrees were $45 plus. Not worth it for a 8 dollar beer.

It has a rustic look from outside but inside is a whole other matter.

It is old and dingy and smells moldy. The rooms were filthy, and there was dust on the furniture. The bathroom smelled of pee. The staff were not even that friendly.

The shuttle service to and from airport is convenient.

There was no toilet paper and tissue paper in the bathroom and we had to go to the front desk to ask for it. The bathroom was very stinky. The smell seemed to come from the plumbing system. The room was not very clean. I found some black stuff on the sheet and people’s hair falling from the towel. The breakfast was very minimum, mostly carbs, no proteins such as eggs or sausages that we commonly found in other hotels and motels.

Comfortable hotel close to the airport, ok for short staying

The hotel is in a good position for the one arriving at Vancouver international airport (only 15 min away). The train to downtown in located only 10 minutes away by feet and takes about 15 minutes to rea h the city center. The room was big enough and well equiped. Beds were really comfortable

The moquette was a little old and stained, the breakfast could be more complete.
