Great gateway in the Netherlands.

This is the perfect place for a location. The house, located in a historic building is comfortable and enjoyable. There a nice yard outside. The couple running the place are just extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good and they are happy to accommodate to special needs if you have any. The location, while quiet and relaxing is very close to a lot of major attractions.

A very comfortable stay.

Our hostess provided us with an excellent breakfast. Fresh buns and croissants. Sliced meats. Sliced cheeses. Fruit. What a comfortable little place this was. I would go back if I had the chance.

Exceptional

This is a highly recommended warm and cozy B&B in a charming little town near Leiden - great location for exploring Leiden, Haag, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam. The property is wonderfully designed, with a private garden and interesting outdoor area, very clean and equipped with chic details and all the amenities needed for a great stay. The hosts do their best to make your stay feel like being at home, but on a nice and relaxed vacation.

Amazing experience!

We had a lovely stay at Genesis. We were nicely welcomed and we discovered a lovely cottage, amazingly decorated but with all the amenities we could ask for. We really appreciated the fridge well stocked and the fresh fruits. The patio was a heaven for us and our daughter. We will come back with eyes closed anytime.

The stay exceeded expectations by far mainly due to the friendly owners and stylish cottage.

-The owners were very friendly and helpfull -For the kids there were about 5 rabbits + cat Arno -Breakfast is very elaborate and fresh -You have a nice inner terras to relax + BBQ material -The location is in a small village Voorschoten with plenty of nice restaurants -15 minutes away you have the see or a nice lake or very big Louwman car museum or modern art Voorlinden or amusement park Duinrell

One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed!

Genesis is a truly wonderful place to stay! It is a beautifully preserved traditional property, which is very clean, spacious, comfortable and private. We were made very welcome by the hosts and breakfast was delightful! It is the perfect place for a relaxing break or as a base to explore this part of The Netherlands.

Very nice hosts, lovely authentic athmosphere at B&B . The bed is super comfortable and you get fresh bread and pastry every morning - smelling so good The place is spacious for families and has everything you need and more - even toys and rabbits to please the children.I wish we could stay more time

Lovely hostess and everything we needed for our comfort. Great food options for breakfast. She was helpful in suggesting restaurants and other needs in the area. A great first stop after a long international flight. We rested well there in this charming cottage and were ready to continue the next day.

Great hospitality in a beautiful house with amazing surroundings!

I absolutely recommend anyone to book this place! The apartment is beautifully decorated and Marc & Lonneke provides you with anything you need, I have never experience better hospitality in the Netherlands. The surroundings are beautiful and Lonneke suggested that we should take a walk and look at a castle, which is a must do! For breakfast they provided warm bread, croassaints and numerous toppings etc. Thank you so much Marc & Lonneke, would love to come back in summer and use the outside barbeque as well!

Ein schöner Urlaub bei einer freundlichen niederländischen Familie.

Sehr herzliche Gastgeber, die stets ein offenes Ohr hatten und mit tollen Ausflugtipps zur Seite standen. Das leckere und reichhaltige Frühstück (frisches Obst, niederländischer Käse, Brötchenauswahl). Die zentrale Lage zwischen Den Haag und Amsterdam sodass viele Sehenswürdigkeiten mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar waren.

Unieke locatie met alles voorhanden voor een fijn verblijf met gezin / kinderen.

Zeer vriendelijke en kundige eigenaresse die ons hartelijk heeft ontvangen en alle moeite deed. Alles was aanwezig voor een leuk verblijf, ook spelletjes en heel veel boeken. Mooie en unieke B&B. In de buurt zijn veel leuke restaurantjes.

De spontane ontvangst van de lieve gastvrouw, de prachtige locatie, de authentieke woning en het was van alle gemakken voorzien. Hier was duidelijk iemand met veel enthousiasme en liefde aan bezig geweest om het de gasten naar de zin te maken.

De ambiance. Warm, Authentiek, verzorgd in mooie stijl passend bij de locatie. Alles aanwezig wat nodig is, als er iets is wat additioneel nodig is wordt daarvoor gezorgd vzv dat binnen de mogelijkheden ligt.

Nous avons été accueillis dans une maison propre et bien équipée. Le calme de la ville nous a plu ainsi que le charme du logement et la proximité de nombreux commerces. La gentillesse des propriétaires était incroyable.

Prachtige locatie in Voorschoten. Authentiek van buiten en van binnen. Heerlijk ontbijt en fijne gastvrijheid. Snel en flexibel in contact!

Niets. let wel op: het is een oud gebouw en ook met authentieke meubels ingericht. Verwacht dus geen strakgetrokken interieur! Het heeft heel veel charme maar daarmee ook niet al teveel luxe. Voor ons was het meer dan prima!

Ontbijt was fantastisch warme broodjes en veel fruit . Mooie omgeving, jammer dat we maar een nacht er waren en weer vroeg weg moesten

Een groene oase in het dorp

Het was heerlijk zitten in de tuin. Met de goed gevulde ijskast en warme broodjes konden we zalig ontbijten in de privacy en rust van ons huisje.

De bovenverdieping kan warm worden onder het dak, ondanks de airco.

Heel goede, rustieke B&B.

Leuke b&b op prachtige locatie. Heerlijke tuin, waar het goed toeven was. Heel goede gastheer/vrouw. Heerlijk ontbijt. Alles van alle gemakken voorzien.

Geen tegenvaller, alleen opmerking doordat het een ouder gebouw is, zijn er niet zoveel stopcontacten (m'n bij bed ivm telefoon) dus is een verlengsnoer meenemen handig.

De ruimte van de accommodatie was fantastisch. De plek van de accommodatie was eveneens fantastisch. Uitstekende bedden en er was heerlijk veel ruimte in het zitgedeelte. Een echte aanrader.

De ruime accommodatie en de diversiteit aan spulletjes in de keuken.

Op de website staat een foto met uitzicht op het water. Dit blijkt niet zo te zijn en geeft een verkeerd beeld. En de zitbanken zijn niet voor iedereen prettig om in te zitten. Bovendien is er maar een klein tafeltje om iets op te zetten.
