My 9-year-old daughter and I recently spent four wonderful days at Divis Guest House on Divis Road in Belfast, and we couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming stay. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy throughout our visit, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after our busy days exploring. The hosts are currently redecorating parts of the property, but this is being done gradually and did not affect our stay in any way whatsoever. Everything was well maintained, peaceful, and comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect for anyone visiting Belfast. It is within walking distance of the city centre and also just a short walk from the famous Falls Road murals and the Peace Wall, making it an ideal base for exploring some of Belfast’s most historic and cultural landmarks. What really made our stay special were the thoughtful touches from the hosts. Before we travelled to Dublin for a concert, they kindly washed my daughter’s jacket, which was such a generous and appreciated gesture. One evening, Cleo brought my wee girl some biscuits and a warm glass of milk before bedtime. It was such a lovely, caring thing to do and made my daughter feel right at home. The genuine warmth, kindness, and hospitality we experienced made this stay truly memorable. Nothing was too much trouble, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thank you to everyone at Divis Guest House for making our trip so special. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and perfectly located place to stay in Belfast.
