Location, Cleanliness and the whole home! Was exceptional! Every detail in the home was placed with careful thought, from the aluminum foil, tea kettle, bedding. Perfect little walk uphill to Hakone cable cars and ropeway station. Host was very prompt with replies. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return and stay again. Accommodations were perfect for my family of 5 including 3 kids ( 2 teens and a 10 year old). Sleeping quarters are separate from downstairs. If elderly or trouble with mobility, this may not be for you due to stairs. Otherwise, this is perfect home for any visit. Decor is excellent and surroundings were very peaceful. I can go on and on about this home!
On 2 separate occasions, taxi couldn’t find the location but I think that’s a GPS issue.
