The Onsen was gorgeous and the rooms were very traditionally Japanese and the surrounding were very tranquil.
The property is quite far out of the main village but there is a bus that takes you a 5 minute walk from the property.

Nice ryokan, beautiful onsen. Good room size.
Could be better toilet facilities and maybe an optional shower without having to enter the onsen

Traditional Japanese onsen, it really worths if you wanna have a full Japanese experience.
It’s not about the property, it seems Hakone is more “designed” for cars. So here’s a tip: rent a car, you’ll have a better experience. It was a bit hard to arrive in the hotel with the luggage and to move around.
