The onsen was slightly lukewarm, but it was still very pleasant.

It made us feel like we were in the "real" Japan! Our host Dai provided us with useful info before even being asked. He is an example of a gracious host for all of us!

Great place; the owner works hard to make sure he is doing everything he can to make you comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and convenience store. Onsen is private; you can open the windows if the weather is nice, to get a view of the surrounding trees. Room was spacious and comfortable.
We did not realize that we needed to reserve for dinner two days in advance because we booked close to our date of stay. It was a short and pleasant walk to the nearest set of restaurants. Breakfast was included and wonderful.
