Vallum Collection - ULTRALIGHT HOME

We stayed at this accommodation for a full week in July 2026, which gave us a good opportunity to experience both the apartment and its location properly. We had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend it. The location is excellent. It is literally a 10-minute walk into the centre of Verona, yet it is situated in a quiet street with very little traffic, making it peaceful both during the day and at night. When you first arrive, the door entry system is a little fiddly. Our advice would be to ensure that you have the Wi-Fi code saved on your phone before leaving your home country. We arrived at around 1.00 am, and trying to enter a long code when we were tired and standing outside in the dark took a little time and patience. However, once we had used the system once, it became very straightforward and we had no further problems throughout our stay. The accommodation is described as an "apartment", but that perhaps gives the wrong impression. It is approximately 45 square metres and consists of a good-sized bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, but there is no separate living area or comfortable seating. If you are expecting a traditional apartment with a lounge, this is more of a well-designed studio with separate rooms. That said, the apartment has been refurbished to a high standard. It is clean, comfortable and very easy to stay in. We also felt very safe throughout our stay, as the apartment is fitted with high-quality security locks. There is a little noise from the apartment above from time to time, but it was never excessive and certainly did not bother us or affect our enjoyment of the stay. The air conditioning deserves a special mention. In our opinion, it is outstanding. During our stay the temperature reached around 39°C, yet the apartment remained wonderfully cool. Combined with the shutters, which made the bedroom very dark, and a very comfortable bed, we had some of the best nights' sleep we have had for months.

Our only real criticism concerns the kitchen equipment. We would also have appreciated two large mugs, as we prefer drinking tea rather than espresso coffee and a bottle opener. One point also worth mentioning is that the first-floor one-bedroom apartment does not have its own private outdoor space, despite how the photographs could be interpreted. The outdoor area is communal and is located on the ground floor near the washing machines. Also, by around the fifth day we both found that the foam pillows had lost their support for us, and we woke with stiff, aching necks. This may not affect everyone, but guests staying for longer periods might appreciate firmer pillows.

- il y avait que 3 couverts de chaque dans un logement pour 6 personnes, on nous a proposé de nous en déposer de nouveau mais nous n’avons rien reçu - la propreté du logement était moyenne, toutes les fenêtres/ miroirs etaient vraiment sales - le lit superposé faisait beaucoup de bruit donc compliqué de dormir à deux dedans, nous avons dû mettre le matelas au sol - l’appartement est très mal isolé
