Residenza Veronica a Ponte Pietra

Beautiful apartment next to Pontre Pietre. Two good double bedrooms. A comfortable lounge and well equipped kitchen. The bathroom was modern with a waterfall shower. The air conditioning was a good and necessary addition. The balcony was amazing with views over the bridge and river.

The apartment block is on a busy road. You don't really hear the road from the apartment. The apartment is on the top floor which means it has a fantastic view but also it involves lots of stairs to climb up to it.. It is a shame there was no form of shade on the balcony and there were only 2 chairs for an apartment for four. I understand there are restrictions on awnings.

The view from the terrace and the bedroom windows must be the best in Verona- the water rushing under the Ponte Pietra was the most delightful backdrop. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well fitted out. The location couldn't have been better. Easy access to the major tourist sites but just slightly out of the way.

We loved everything

This was a delight to stay in. The gushing River Adige was gorgeous from both bedrooms while the living room windows opened up to a front-row seat of the Roman theatre ruins. We were blown away! Clean, spacious and well-equipped, it accommodated 4 of us adults well such that we were sad that we only had a 1-night stay in gorgeous Verona. Thank you for the fuss-free stay and for accommodating the early check-in. Your cleaners did a very good job as well with cleaning every inch of the apartment and kitchen. We also appreciated the safety of the area and how close the city and the sights (arena, Juliet's house, shopping) were to the apartment. An easy 10 to 15 minute stroll via the river.

Okay so there are stairs. About 3 floors. The apartment is the 'penthouse' unit with the huggest terrace to enjoy all the views of Verona. We are middle-aged with 2 uni kids. We managed our large suitcases up these sturdy stairs; they are wide enough :) The elderly or people with mobility issues might need to pack very lightly to enjoy the stupendous views from this apartment! It's worth the climb!

The most amazing location in all of Verona, right across Ponte Pietra! Easy to access by the city buses and right by a yummy gelato place as well. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was spacious and clean. A beautiful balcony overlooks the river.

Not much to dislike about the property. Some very minor inconveniences... the toilet is very close to the shower and there is no elevator. Other than that, everything was perfect!
