Lava Mist Kintamani

First of all, the view was breathtaking. We did not get to see the sunrise from there as we stayed one night to see Mt Batur, but it certainly would have been wonderful. The accommodation itself is very nice, with a lovely outdoor bathtub! Different services are offered such as food delivery and massage! Also the kitchen is fully equipped. A super nice thing was the fireplace in front of each unit, which you can ask to be lit for the night, and also get a bbq, honestly so cool! The staff is also sooo nice, they will happily pick you up or bring you up the hill! Also they can arrange your trip to Mt. Batur for much cheaper than online options!

The location is a bit remote from the main road. By that I mean that to access it you must go downhill a quite steep and bumpy road. However, as I mentioned in the positive points, the staff will be available to bring you up and down! Another drawback is that there are farms around the place, and they have hens, which start screaming from 5 in the morning, and the units are not so well noise-insulated.

Ras was an exceptional host, helping me sort out transport and navigate local fruit shopping. I loved sitting by the fire at night and enjoying the outdoor bath. The room was functional and clean. Loved little details like the complimentary eggs and noodles.

Exceptional view of Mt. Batur, bornfire every night, close to great restaurants like Akasa and Paperhills. super helpful staff (Sudi and Ras) took me anywhere any time. Would love to come back again! 😊
