It’s a gift to spend quiet time watching the sunset while swimming in a warm natural hot spring pool

An amazing sunset, a warm pool, and a great room size.

It's hard to find and get in. The road is very narrow through the villages, and there aren't many food choices.

Exceptional location and hospitality

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Quiet and relaxed vibe with a great view from my room and the infinity pool is perfect temp for late afternoon/night time swims. The staff were basically on call for anything like food or if I needed a short ride somewhere. Kumang and Putu were especially friendly and treated me like family. The meals were quite simple but cheap and delicious, and also has a bunch of nice restaurants around the area. Would definitely stay again.

An authentic mountain stay with top service and incredible views, but be prepared for tough road.

The villa looked exactly like the photos — stunning mountain views and peaceful atmosphere. It’s located at the highest point on the hill, so the scenery is breathtaking. The hot spring pool +40 was amazing at night, and the young staff were exceptionally kind and hard-working, the youngest team I’ve ever seen, local boys and girls. They worked very hard, helping guests by biking up and down the hill and making the stay truly special.

The access road is in very poor condition — the worst I’ve seen in Bali — which makes it difficult for older guests or anyone on foot. There were also quite flies, so it’s best to be careful with food. I suggest that the villa and hotel owners on this road press the local government or pool funds together to fix the road — guests and staff would truly appreciate it.

Do it for the hotspring!

The hotspring water!!! I highly recommend building a stronger little fountain instead of a basic pcv pipe.

The flies.... also another staff or two with strong English would be very helpful.

Incredible views and lovely staff!

The staff were so lovely, in particular Wayan who took me up Mt Batur himself for a very reasonable price, and also put me in touch with another guide to take me up Trunyan hill/Abang and organised transport for me. Thank you Wayan!

Nice place as a stopover for the hike

If you are going to take the hike is a perfect stay for one night …. The hotel has the lovely spring pool which is perfect for the sunset. Staff is amazing.

A great place for a trip to the mountains, with unique views

Fantastic place to conquer the Batur volcano. Beautiful views and peace. The staff is a group of young, always smiling people who are happy to help. We especially remember Kamala (?), if we wrote the name correctly, He is a great guide for the expedition to the sunrise from the top of the Batur volcano, and the chef of kitchen to. The cottages are comfortable, with all the basic necessities. Beautiful view from the terrace of the lake and mountains. Great swimming pool. If you like trekking, unforgettable views and do not miss life in discos and pubs - we highly recommend it..

We have to write this - we lost with .. flies, which, unless it's because of the onion fields around, attacked us all day long (fortunately they retreated at night and during the wind).. If you need something urgent, buy it before, the shop is about 1.5 km downhill.. But Staff van help . The last half a kilometer to the hotel is difficult for regular cars.

Wow, the view is spectacular.

1.Spectacular views. 2. Amazing hot spring pool. 3. Rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. 4. Nibbles menu - spring rolls and nasi Goreng was delicious. 5. Free transport to outside restaurants 6. Tour arranged for Mt Butar climb. 7. Well maintained gardens. 8. Manager Wayan was kind, friendly and accommodating. 9. Very quiet area. 10. Excellent wi-fi 11. Breakfast was suitable.

Definitely not deals breakers: 1. Mattress was hard. 2. Room sliding door didn't lock. 3. Mini fridge only worked intermittently.

Beautiful view

The view is second to none. Perfect to catch the sun rise over the mountain and flow down into the valley across the lake. The pool was hot, from the volcano and again has a spectacular view. The room has TV that convection to Netflix. The breakfast was substantial and the staff helpful and talkative. If doing the Mt Batur volcano hike it's worth staying here to enjoy the sights in peace.

The road to the location is a little hectic, my room had no ac, but some others did, so check that and is a little isolated so bring snacks etc but in saying that the staff did go to the shop for me..

The perfect location if you want to hike up Mount Batur. Good size of the room, and very pleasant weather. Food options were limited, but we were there for a very short time, and it was ok.

Difficult to find in the dark, and a bumpy ride in the last mile, with limited and sometimes confusing signage. Best to ask the hotel for a pickup.

Great stay, would recommend if you want to relax and unwind.

Large room with two entire walls of floor to ceiling windows which have amazing views of the lake. You can relax in the natural hot spring infinity pool over looking the lake and see Mount Batur behind you. Very quiet place to escape the hustle and bustle of other parts of Bali. A huge shout out to staff member Wayam who made our stay easy and enjoyable. He worked really hard the entire time we were there (3days), helped us with arranging everything from trips to get lunch to a great sunrise hike. He brings the property up a notch.

The property was a little further away from the lake than we thought with a steep hill to get to so made walking a bit too far, however the property provided a jeep to take you down if available.

Ideal short stop over while travelling

Amazing views, perfect location for anyone looking to climb mt bakur. Room was fresh and clean. And this property has amazing potential you would not be disappointed as a stop over. Unfortunately after been told we had 24 hour access to the pool, we woke next morning to see the pool closed for cleaning for the day which was very disappointing. Also the location is amazing all be it very remote I was disappointed with the lack of staff available around the property. There seemed to be no one available the morning after check in to provide breakfast for us which was included. We also paid for a 4X4 tour which included black lava and hot spring but unfortunately we were not brought to see any hot springs and due to a language barrier with our driver he did not understand our queries.

Stunning views, friendly staff, and a heavenly hot spring pool define the villa experience.

The views of the mountains, lake, and pool are truly spectacular! The villas are uniquely situated to offer these breathtaking vistas. We stayed for three nights to fully appreciate the changing scenery at various times of the day. The host and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, graciously providing local transportation for us as well. The hot spring pool, with its stunning mountain and lake views, was heavenly, and we enjoyed it several times a day!

As is commonly known, flies were the only significant nuisance we had to learn to live with. Another major concern was the water supply in the private bathroom, as it was both weak and unstable. There was a constant worry that the water flow might come to a complete stop during a shower. Despite these issues, the place was excellent overall!

Great view from the pool. Facilities were basic but it is a small hotel on the slopes of Batur. Great location as it is the beginning of the trail to hike up Mt. Batur.

Kintamani area has a serious fly prpblem. There were flies everywhere and they will get into the room and on the bed and everywhere. But they are gone once the temperature dips at night.

1. No hot water most of the day. 2. Road going in very bad, you have to be picked up to get down to the main road a fair way away and sit in the tray of a ute if there is more than 1 of you. 3. Stairs uneven... no rails. 4. The food price is reasonable but not very tasty. 5. The shower base just rocks nowhere flat to stand. 6. Dining table and chairs uncomfortable. 7. Power points are difficult to access.

Beautiful location at the base of Mt Batur. The staff could not have been friendlier and our guide for the hike was fab! Pool is a lovely feature and the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean.

Unlikely it can be helped but the electric frequently went off - we did have help each time very quickly to sort it. The flies! Property can't help and they had sprays but they're a menace!

Exceptional

Great location if you are interested in hiking mt batur, with an excellent view over lake batur. The staff made the experience for me and my partner, very friendly and kind. A special thank you to Kadek who works at the accomodation and guided us up mt Batur, he is the most friendly guide and makes the experience even better than we expected, we can’t recommend him enough if your looking for a hiking guide.

the place is really nice, just at the bottom of batur mountain. the rooms are spacious, super clean and bright. and the team is just amazing especially Kadek. the food is local and tasty. We booked also the trekking with the property. it was my second stay there and I will come back

loved this spot. perfect mountain get away!

the staff at this location are AMAZING. wayan and Kadek and the others made my stay so enjoyable. i traveled solo and felt so safe here. i also have a gluten allergy and they were able to accommodate for me too. the hike up batur was 10/10. you walk out and start right from the property. the Pool is lovely. the rooms big and beautiful views. i extended my stay. they arrange drivers and are overall amazing. i HIGHLY recommend this place. shower was hot and water pressure good!

yes there are some flies outside but it’s not bad. the wifi in my room was decent but not great. in shared spaces it was great. manage your expectations on speed. it’s a mountain vibe and very laid back… I encourage you to slowwww down here.
