Great Staycation

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Towel are fresh. The jacuzzi with natural hot water is incredible. The public pool also great. The staff are very kind. They always willing to help & always ready to assist any request.

The flies are a little bit disturbing but this is natural. So, it is not a big issue for us.

Not a lot of food options, limited hours for kitchen ordering, it is a bit out of the way without much around if you don’t have your own transport, roof leaks in heavy rain and could have staff who provide more information to tourists.

Stay longer

The place is beautiful but what really stands out is the staff. Starting with Sisi welcoming us. The rest of the team such as Ade, Sari, Budiana, Arka and of course jr. Siri are beyond amazing and such a pleasure to be around. Cabana Villa has a strong team and the food and drinks are delicious. Especially the signature Mojito is to die for. Lastly we had a self made issue that the team solved without any hesitation or asking for compensation. We can just say that Cabana is no.1 in Mt. Batur. Terima kasih, Clau and Chris

The young staff were very accomodating and ran the place well. The view was amazing as well as the hot spring tubs in front of our villa. Highly recommend 100%!

The road down is very narrow and quite bad, suitable for a scooter not a car. The menu needs more meat available and of course the flies are annoying, but its nature and cant be helped.

Liked the hot pool!

The small hot pool in front of our room was definitely the highlight of our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was basic but good (and very cheap!). We accidentally booked the wrong room type and the staff were kind enough to switch rooms for us with no extra charge. Bathrooms were very clean.

The flies were the only really bad part of our stay, there were gazillions! I've heard that this was a problem in that area but was not expecting that many. We could not even eat our breakfast in the restaurant because there were too many flies fighting over our food! A screened in area might be a good idea.

Magical stay

The most beautoful place i have stated in bali! So magical and to have our own hotspring hot tub was so good, and to wake up with such a great mountain view 🫶 lovely staff, lovely place would definitely come back, highly recommend.

A unique experience but wouldn’t recommend staying more than 2 nights as there isn’t much to do and the flies are annoyi

The staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved how peaceful it was and it was nice after the noise and busyness of Ubud. Loved soaking our own little hot pool and the view of the lake. The food at the little restaurant was great value and quite tasty.

The flies mean you keep your door closed but then it is very hot in the room with not even a fan. Room very small.

Disappointing

Proximity to Mt Batur

We booked our stay on the same day, but were not informed that there would be a wedding taking place that night with extremely loud music playing until 3am. Unfortunately, this meant we were unable to get any proper sleep at all. Had we been told about the event beforehand, we would have chosen to stay elsewhere. By the time we arrived and complained about the music at around 7pm, we were told it would continue all night – leaving us with no alternative. The noise was so intense it felt as if the speakers were inside our room. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and we felt misled.

Romantic escape from the busy city in a beautiful glamping cabin.

Luxurious property with great value and amenities, I enjoyed the breakfast and the hot spring was so calming.

As the property already explains: there are many flies in this area—it is unavoidable they will swarm your food if you eat breakfast on the patio.

Had a lovely stay

Sparkling clean, lovely staff. The real highlight was the heated pool facilities, really lovely after a day of exploring. It was raining unfortunately so we came back drenched, the heated pool was amazing to warm up and relax.

We stayed here for the weekend of the BTR Ultra run. The accommodation was really clean and comfortable and the thermal pools were lovely. But the stay was made even better by the staff who couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating.

Heaven!

The hosts Puga and Putu were awesomely helpful and kind and took care of all our needs. The jacuzzi has water from natural hot spring and is very relaxing. Spent a lot of time in it after a tiring day!

During morning time for around 2 hours there are mango flies I guess due to the nature farms around. But thats just a minor itch and everything else was simply superb!

Wunderschöne Anlage, etwas abseits aber dafür mit eigenem Thermalpool vor der Tür

Die Anlage ist wunderschön gestaltet. Der private Thermalquellenpool ist außergewöhnlich schön und angenehm, selbst bei Regen kann man ihn nutzen.

Die Glamping Hütten sind ein wenig klein, aber für ein oder zwei Nächte ausreichend. Das Bad ist im Verhältnis wiederum groß

Naturnahes kleines Dorf am Batursee mit günstigen Preisen

Nettes kleines, naturnahes Dorf mit sehr hilfsbereitem, zuvorkommendem und lösungsorientiertem Personal. Die Pools werden mit warmem Vulkanwasser gespeist. Sehr günstige Preise. Nachdem wir uns entschieden, etwas früher weiterzureisen, bekamen wir freundlicherweise eine Nacht erstattet.

Wie schon in der hoteleigenen Beschreibung zu lesen ist, leben dort am Batursee sehr viele Fliegen und anderes Getier; damit muss man zurechtkommen können… Zudem ist die Zufahrt etwas holprig.

Pools & Aussicht sind super!

Eine sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage, wenn auch ein bisschen in der Pampa gelegen, aber gut das sieht man auch gleich auf GoogleMaps - deshalb sollte man m.M.n. nicht meckern. Das Team ist eher jung, jedoch extrem nett, hilfsbereites & engagiert und gibt sich wirklich Mühe trotz des "Fliegenproblems" einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bieten (ihnen alleine würde ich 10 Punkte geben). Die privaten Pools werden lt. unseren Beobachtungen oft gereinigt, dementsprechend könnten wir hier nicht über mangelnde Sauberkeit meckern.

Nun ja, die oftmals erwähnten Fliegen sind wirklich da und das kann man auch nicht wegdiskutieren. Was man zumindest positiv erwähnen kann ist der Fakt, dass die Störenfriede zumindest am Abend auch inaktiv werden und man zumindest da seine Ruhe hat. Ferner "beißen" die Fliegen nicht so wie man es von jenen aus Europa kennt. Eventuell würde ein Deckenventilator im Terassenbereich die Situation noch etwas verbessern, da die Fliegen den Luftzug auch nicht mögen (ähnlich wie beim Restaurant).

Die Anlage ist total schön und gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr nett und man kann direkt vor Ort die verschiedenen Touren buchen. Es gibt ein Restaurant mit einer kleinen Auswahl an Speisen. Zu empfehlen ist die mittlere Version der Zimmer, mit eigenem Pool. Er ist mit Vulkanwasser gespeist und schön warm. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und es ist auch möglich, die für wenig Geld, weitere Mahlzeiten zu bekommen. Besonders schön ist es, dass es eine sehr ruhige, gemütliche Stimmung ist, da es insgesamt vielleicht 10 Bungalows gibt.

Ich kann nichts schlechtes nennen, nur Verbesserungsvorschläge. - Zum Frühstück eine anderen Option als Wasser bieten. - Das Restaurant eher eröffnen (Allerdings schien es mir nie ein Problem zu sein, auch schon vor dem Mittag nach Essen zu fragen, wenn es kein Frühstück war)

Superbe !

C’est incroyable d’avoir un petit bain d’eau de source chaude en sortant de la chambre ( glamping ) et ils nettoient et vident l’eau entre chaque réservation, c’est très propre et entretenu. Le jardin et la vue sont très agréable. Le staff est très gentil et attentionné. Nous avons réservé le tour en jeep pour le lever du soleil via ce logement avec Putu, il est très gentil, parle très bien anglais et nous a expliqué beaucoup de choses sur sa région et donné quelques conseils superbe expérience. Les bungalow sont confortables et grande terrasse. La spécialité de poisson était délicieux ! Le service en petit déjeuner/ boisson/ dîner servi sur la terrasse en chambre 😊 Merci Cabana Villa !

Dans la chambre Deluxe, la salle d’eau n’est pas fort aéré c’est très humide. Celle de la chambre Glamping est plus aéré. La localisation est parfaite pour se déconnecter mais le menu du soir est limité et les restaurants sont à 30 min à pied (le logement loue des scooter) Les mouches lors du petit déjeuner en terrasse, on sait que c’est dans la région mais peut-être ajouter des ventilateurs ou de l’encens répulsif ? Les ventilateurs dans la salle du restaurant aide à avoir moins de mouches 😊

Was een leuke locatie.. uitzicht op zee. En een eigen hottub.. gevuld met opgewarmd water van de vulkaan. Uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzame personeel (familie). Die ons graag tot dienst stonden. Om ons verblijf zo prettig te laten verlopen
