Shaa Home Stay Sigiriya

We are really grateful to Pathum and Hiru for their outstanding hospitality and kindness. We really enjoyed our four-day stay at this homestay hotel. The facilities were excellent: comfortable, new, clean rooms, nice outdoor area with the beautiful pool that was really convenient after a hot day visiting the area, delicious big breakfast and food. We are thankful for all the advice, recommendations and the services they arranged for us and also for the wonderful safari ride with your nice company. Everything at a very good price with great quality. This has been the best accomodation of our journey so far. I strongly recommend this place.

We strongly recommend this place if you are visiting Sigiriya! From the moment we arrived, Hiru and Pathum made us feel completely at home with their genuine kindness. Hiru’s massive, delicious breakfasts gave us the perfect start to every day, while Pathum’s incredible knowledge made our safari experience truly special. They also organised a wonderful cooking class for us next door. The newly built pool is an amazing addition and the perfect place to relax! They truly prioritised our comfort and made sure that nothing was missing. We will never forget this beautiful place and its lovely hosts! As they say, "your happiness is my happiness"🙏

We really enjoyed our stay at Shaa Home Stay. It is a very new guesthouse, opened in January this year, and everything is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, well ventilated and very comfortable, with good beds, a modern bathroom, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The swimming pool is especially pleasant, and we really enjoyed relaxing there after our visits and excursions. But without a doubt, the best thing about this place is the hosts, Phatum and Hiru. Phatum is extremely kind, friendly and always willing to help with anything you may need. He is a safari guide, and he helped us a lot during our trip around Sri Lanka, arranging and coordinating many of our journeys around the country. He was always happy to give us good advice and make things easier for us. Hiru is a very attentive host and an excellent cook. She is a little shy, but she is always attentive to the guests’ needs and makes sure that everything is perfect. They are both great entrepreneurs and wonderful hosts, and you can really see how much dedication and enthusiasm they put into their project. And a special mention must go to the breakfast: the best breakfast we have had so far in Sri Lanka. It was incredibly generous and varied, with a great selection of different products and, above all, excellent quality. We highly recommend Shaa Home Stay. If you are visiting Sigiriya, this is definitely a place worth staying at. We felt very comfortable and very well looked after throughout our stay.

To był najwspanialszy nocleg, jaki mieliśmy na Sri Lance, a spaliśmy w 8 różnych miejscach. Właściciele tego obiektu to cudowni ludzie pełni troski, życzliwości, uprzejmości, zawsze pomocni i uśmiechnięci. Przywitali nas pysznym sokiem ze świeżych owoców. Śniadania, które zostały dla nas przygotowane, to była prawdziwa uczta. Było po kilka różnych lokalnych dań, codziennie innych. Nigdzie nie spotkaliśmy takich śniadań, jak tutaj. Do tego pyszne soki i owoce. Ilości ogromne, nie do przejedzenia. Zamawialiśmy również kolacje, które przygotowywała dla nas Właścicielka. Wszystko było przepyszne! Obiekt jest nowy, niedawno otwarty. Pokoje są pięknie urządzone, łóżka bardzo wygodne, pościel przyjemna, ręczniki, łazienki nowoczesne i jest bardzo, bardzo czysto. Dodatkowo do dyspozycji gości jest piękny, nowy basen, z brodzikiem, z czyściutką wodą. Wszystko jest bardzo zadbane. Wszędzie jest mnóstwo pięknych kwiatów. Widać, że Właściciele wkładają mnóstwo serca. Czuliśmy się tu jak w domy, za co serdecznie dziękujemy. Gdy Właściciele dowiedzieli się, że moi Rodzice mają 50 rocznicę ślubu, przygotowali niespodziankę: pyszny tort i prezent, co było bardzo, bardzo miłe. Spędziliśmy wspaniałe wieczory, słuchając opowieści z safari, oglądając filmy z dzikimi zwierzętami (pan pracuje na safari), dowiadując się mnóstwa rzeczy o Sri Lance. Dzieki bardzo dobremu językowi angielskiemu, komunikacja była bardzo łatwa. Byl zestaw do parzenia kawy i g Gerbaty, filizanki, czajnik w każdym pokoju. Wi-Fi też było najlepsze na całej Sri Lance. Polecamy to miejsce z całego serca! Najlepszy nocleg na Sri Lance (a rzadko zdarza mi się tak pisać)!
