The food, the room, THE POOL! Amazing.
We were made to feel so welcome with welcome drinks and breakfast times discussed etc. we had delicious rice and curry one night here too. Would recommend.
Perhaps ask if people want a private or group safari. We loved our group safari to the Eco park. We saw so, so many elephants and it was only 6500 rupees.

Location is great. Only 7 minute drive to the Lion Rock.
Staff is super friendly and accomodating.
Very quiet area. Close to a road, but not many cars.
Breakfast surprisingly good.
Rooms quite moldy. Marks on the wall and unpleasant smell. Not dangerous or unbearable, but sensitive people should be aware.
Lots of ants in the bathroom.
Bad shower pressure (which must be expected for budget hotels in Sri Lanka).
