The location and the cleanness of the hotel was important for us. We were comfortable and the owner was very friendly. On the day we need to checkout, we asked the owner if it's possible to pick up our luggages later than checkout time and he was fine with that.

Best place to stay near Sigiriya. Anil and his family are the best. They'll help you at everything, arrange plans and look out for you. The place is incredible and the food too. Lovely and perfect to get to know Sri Lanka. Hope we can come back some day.

Location is great. Only 7 minute drive to the Lion Rock. Staff is super friendly and accomodating. Very quiet area. Close to a road, but not many cars. Breakfast surprisingly good.
Rooms quite moldy. Marks on the wall and unpleasant smell. Not dangerous or unbearable, but sensitive people should be aware. Lots of ants in the bathroom. Bad shower pressure (which must be expected for budget hotels in Sri Lanka).
