Liyara Home Stay

Ha sido una estancia maravillosa. La habitación en un entorno privilegiado y a destacar la amabilidad de la familia. Está muy cerca de la roca de leon de sigiriya y a pasos de sitios para comer, aunque con la comida de niluka, la anfitriona, no quisimos comer en otro sitio, sino comernos su kotu una y otra vez. Ha sido el único sitio donde han tenido en cuenta nuestro “sin picante”. También organizaron nuestro safari y estuvieron atentos a todo. Muchas gracias familia, por hacer que nuestros días en su casa hayan sido memorables.

Our stay at Liyara Homestay in Sigiriya was truly one of the best experiences we have ever had. I came with my wife and daughter to visit Sigiriya Lion Rock, and from the moment we arrived, Uncle Upali and Auntie treated us like family members, not just guests. They were incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming throughout our entire stay. Uncle Upali even woke up at 5 AM to personally give us a lift to Sigiriya Lion Rock, which was such a thoughtful and generous thing to do. The breakfast they prepared for us was absolutely delicious and made with so much care. Auntie always checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and happy, and she spoke with us so warmly and kindly. They both did everything they could to make our stay special and memorable. Even after we left, Uncle Upali kept calling to make sure we reached home safely. That level of care is very rare and truly touched our hearts. If you are visiting Sigiriya, I highly recommend staying at Liyara Homestay. It is not just a place to stay it feels like a home filled with genuine kindness, love, and hospitality. Thank you again, Uncle Upali and Auntie, for the unforgettable memories. We will never forget your kindness. We will definitely come again in the future. Thank you once again for everything and for making our family trip so special and unforgettable.

The friendliness of the staff and an all round good accomodation for visiting the lion's rock

Breakfast could be improved but we still liked it. Location is a bit far off from the city center.
