Sanu Home stay

Sanu Homestay is the best accommodation we have stayed at in Sri Lanka. The rooms and house itself were perfect and super clean but the best thing about it was the host and her sons. They were extremely welcoming and helpful and arranged trips for us at an extremely reasonable price. The home cooked breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough. Absolutely perfect!

Nothing

This is a pearl! A fantastic and brand new room in a separate building on the premises. The garden is so nice and cozy and the family who runs the place is lovely. It's close to walk to the restaurants and bars down town. You can even walk to Pidurangala or Lion rock if you prefer. It's more comfortable, though, to let the oldest son, who has his own tuktuk parked right next to the house, take you there. We can't recommend this place enough, and we would go back to Sigiriya just in order to spend some more days here.

Chandrika and her two sons were the best hosts. They were all extremely friendly and kind and always willing to give us helpful advice . Our room was very clean, great air con . Excellent and plentiful food, all cooked with love. Our son and girlfriend had previously stopped here and we were really glad we took their recommendation.

There was nothing we disliked

Es war ein privat geführtes homstay und so hatten wir viel Kontakt mit der Vermieterin und ihren beiden Söhnen. Deshalb war es sehr familiär und sie konnten uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet und das Familienzimmer auf dem neuesten Stand. Man war in wenigen Minuten auf der Hauptstraße auf der sich viele Restaurants befinden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Manchmal bellen die umherstreunenden Hunde.
