We absolutely loved our stay at Lal’s and wish we had been able to stay longer. What really makes this place great are the hosts - Lal and his wife were very friendly, accommodating and knowledgable about the area.
The room itself is very comfortable and set in a beautiful garden with very comfy outdoor seating. We were served a brilliant tea on arrival and a great breakfast of fruit, omelettes and pancakes in the morning.
We would love to come back here!

We spent one night at this friendly homestay and can absolutely recommend it: The owners are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable and the location is within walking distance to various sites and restaurants. We would like to especially point out the Sri Lankan breakfast, which was delicious. You cannot go wrong if you book here.
Be reminded: The owners will charge you a small amount for using the AC.

Lal, our host, was very helpful discussing our plans and offering ways to improve on them. We enjoyed home cooked dinner (in addition to the nice breakfast) twice and found it very comforting after long days of exploring the area. It was the best way to start out visit.
