Sigiriya Mana B&B

Everything was really perfect. I can’t imagine that for this price you get a better location and service. The friendliness of the owners is wonderful - they really want to make you happy. And they are also very happy. Their smiling alone gives you a good time. The terrace is nice with a little jungle garden , the mattress is cozy and the mosquito net is a very stable protection. The Homestay is close to the rock and the owner can organise good bicycles (fun to go with bikes there) and scooters. And he is happy to bring / pick up you with his tuktuk. Oh I forgot the breakfast / food is delicious. So no need to go out for restaurant if you are lazy.

Wat een sfeerloze kamer met een koude douche en een wc die niet echt doortrok

Grote kamer met airco en plafondfan met groot terras met uitzicht op de mooie tuin en veel privacy. Eenvoudige kamer, maar eigenaars zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam en staan altijd voor je klaar. Het ontbijt is inbegrepen en vonden wij erg lekker (omelet, hoppers en pannekoekjes met zoete vulling). We hebben er ook een avond gegeten, lekkere kothu. Op verzoek brachten ze ook een paar keer een theepot met heet water en kopjes, zodat we zelf thee konden zetten. Lokatie is vlakbij Lions Rock en ook Pidurangala is niet ver weg. Je kunt bij de accomodatie ook een scooter huren om wat in de omgeving rond te toeren. Voor de prijs die je betaalt, is het prima. Vervoer naar onze volgende plaats (Anuradhapura) werd ook snel geregeld voor een goede prijs.

From the moment we landed in Sri Lanka, the owner took care of everything by arranging a smooth and reliable vehicle transfer from the airport directly to the hotel. The Property & Rooms The B&B is a lovely, calm, and clean oasis perfectly located near Sigiriya Rock. Our room was excellent—very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable, which was exactly what we needed after our travels. Incredible Food The meals here were a highlight of our trip! The food was amazing, including a delicious free breakfast every morning. Each meal was prepared with care and tasted incredible. Outstanding Hospitality & Tours The staff and the owner are the heart of this place. They truly went out of their way to help us with everything: * Elephant Safari: They arranged an amazing safari for us at a very competitive and fair rate. * Sigiriya Rock: They provided free transport to the rock and picked us up afterward to bring us back to the hotel. * Onward Travel: When it was time to leave, they seamlessly arranged a vehicle for our next leg of the trip to Kandy. If you are looking for a place near Sigiriya that feels like home with world-class service, stay here. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
