wood cabin sigiriya

Edi was an amazing host. Always available and making you feel as if you are at home. He took care of our first dinner in Sri Lanka, and was really tasty local dishes. Also the included breakfast, was made with love, and different every day. Local dishes as well. The cabin and the swimming pool were beyond expextations. Edi also offers a guided walk in the surroundings of the cabins which I fully recommend! Best place if you are staying in the Sigiriya area for sure.

We had the most wonderful stay at the woodcabin. The grounds are very peaceful as while its within a 5 minute walk of the shops it’s far enough away to be really quite. The property had a ton of wildlife, we absolutely loved watching the birds from the balcony and the monkeys from inside the room (the smaller ones come and play on the balcony and are really interested in you). The room was lovely, it was clean with a very comfortable bed, AC and a lovely hot shower! Chaminda was so kind during our stay and did so much for us, including a wildlife walk at the back of the property (they even get wild elephants visiting occasionally), personally dropping us to dinner, booking us tours at a really good price (we saw over 50 elephants) and offering a delicious breakfast. We absolutely loved our stay at the wood cabin and would highly recommend.
