Happy Homestay Sigiriya

It was so comfortable and convenient and the host went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Also the most incredible food. We were filled and ready for our day. Ur right next to the lions rock but not too close to be filled with tourists and lots of food options near by.

The hosts were so lovely and really helpful with transport and tips for the area. The room was also really nice and clean with great air con. The breakfast was delicious. We thoroughly recommend happy homestay - the hosts were so generous and kind. Thank you!

Tout était incroyable lors de ce séjour. La chambre et la salle de bain sont très propres ! Nous remercions Malika et son mari pour ces deux jours magnifiques, nous avons eu un super accueil très chaleureux, Nils nous a de suite emmener faire un tour en tuktuk tout autour des rochers et du lac, avec des vues incroyables et des explications vraiment intéressantes, près à répondre à toutes nos questions. Ce tour nous a été proposé par sécurité pour ne pas le faire à pied ou en vélo (risque de croiser un éléphant), tout ça sans demander d'argent. Ils nous ont également proposé plusieurs activités dans une auberge, et veillent a venir nous chercher le soir. Malika nous a fait de merveilleux petits déjeuners Sri lankais vraiment bon. Ils veillent tout les deux à ce qu'on ne manque de rien et nous aident a trouver des activités, voitures/tuktuk pour nos trajets. Nous nous sentions vraiment comme chez nous et recommandons vivement de venir dans ce homestay.

Location was amazing walkable to loads of good restaurants, and the host Me Malika was absolutely lovely and very attentive. The home cooked breakfast was delicious and she was very attentive to us, booking taxis and tuktuks, recommended things to do. Very comfy bed.

The only thing was the towels and bed sheets didn’t feel or smell freshly washed when we arrived, but Malika bought us a new towel after mentioning.
