We loved the rural location and the wonderful host, Gunasiri. The family cabin was clean and cosy. The pool was pristine clean. Gunasiri provided a great breakfast in a relaxed casual setting. We would happily recommend Lotus Eco for those people wanting to experience more of the local rural setting with friendly and helpful host.

Great location just outside the main town. Fabulous accommodation, nice swimming pool. Host was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent and he provided an evening meal.

The host was very helpful and offered to organise excursions and transport. He was flexible with breakfast times and informed us around safety measures with the wild elephants. The pool was nice also. Breakfast was nice and included fresh fruit and extra yoghurt when the host noticed we liked it. This was a nice touch.
The room was dusty and felt as if no one had been in it for months. It had quite a musty smell to it. There were lots of cracks in the windows and doors so lots of bugs got in. On our first night the air con did not work and kept turning off so we had to move rooms.
