Sigiri Neo Homestay

The property is a garden full of rescued animals and is an environment full of love and compassion. The family is focused on your happy stay and goes out of their way to a provide personalized travel experience. They have a brand new tuk tuk and rapidly took me out and about as I needed. The meals were large and delicious, leaving me enough for a second meal while hiking around the sites. We ate and drank together in the evenings, and I was taken into their home where we shared viewpoints and experiences of our cultures. They even took me along to pick out their new fluffy puppy. The family defines community and kindness.

Everything! The family are so kind and welcoming, happy to accommodate in any way. The room is comfortable and the ceiling fan is a huge help, the bathroom was big with a hot shower, the garden is very calm and has a very quiet jungle feel. We bought breakfast and dinner on a few occasions and it was delicious and no small portions! Nahil (dad) has a tuk tuk which is very handy at 5am for the lion rock and more! Pubudu (son) provided the most incredible safari and we would 100% recommend. We got very lucky, we saw many elephants up close to and only 4 other jeeps. Location so great to, not to far from the main road and within walking distance to many places (if you like walking) they also have bicycles for rent and they have lots of animals.

You MUST stay here if they have a room free. The most amazing, generous, hard working and kind family in Sri Lanka. They made me feel like part of their family and I felt so safe here as a solo traveller. The children joined me on day trips and the eldest son took me on an incredible elephant safari. They sorted absolutely everything for me and went above and beyond. The room has everything you need - a mosquito net, clean bedding, warm shower. I was cooked the most amazing breakfast and dinner. The location is perfect and is close to everything you need to do like the rocks, the village tours, herbal gardens, elephant safari. Please do stay here and support this amazing family. It has been the highlight of my Sri Lanka trip. Thank you for being amazing.

Es war so schön mit der Familie den Aufenthalt zu verbringen. Wir liebten es Carrom zu spielen und mit ihnen einfach zu sprechen. Das Essen war genial und bei Nachfrage auch schön scharf 🤗 man hilft auch für Ausflüge, so dass man problemlos alles erleben kann
