Notre meilleur logement du Sri Lanka ♥️ Nous sommes resté une nuit chez ce couple et leurs jumelles adorables. Bien plus qu’un hôtel, nous avons partagé une réelle expérience de vie Sri Lankaise. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce logement. Nous avons partagé des moments de vie, des jeux, des histoires sur nos pays respectifs. Merci encore pour cette fabuleuse soirée 🙏🏼 N’hésitez pas à manger sur place, la cuisine est au top également ! Vous pouvez demander à organiser un safari à Minneriya ( guide super ) et vous pouvez louer un scooter sur place :)

The hosts were very helpful and friendly and their children were absolutely lovely. They arranged a transfer from Negombo for an additional fee, and the host even came along with the driver. They are a very sweet family, always willing to help, make you feel comfortable, and introduce you to the local area. They were also very kind to take me by motorbike at 5:30 in the morning to Pidurangala Rock, and they came to pick me up afterwards. On the way back, they even took me for a quick ride around the lake. I really appreciated their kindness and hospitality. If you enjoy simple living and being surrounded by nature, this place is ideal.

It is located outside the city, so you will need some form of transportation to get to the town and nearby shops. Since it is quite remote and surrounded by nature, it is best to return before it gets dark, as there are animals in the area. I would have preferred a little more privacy, but when you stay in someone’s home, this is part of the experience and something to expect. Things to keep in mind: Since the property is surrounded by nature, it would be a good idea to close or cover some of the openings. For example, there is a window in the bathroom that is not covered, so insects and other small creatures can easily get inside. A simple screen or cover would make the experience more comfortable.
