Green Bamboo House

Everything, it was perfect. Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka so far. Food was amazing, the owners were very helpful. They arranged our safari and took us and brought us back from our pidurangula rock hike! They are a lovely family, I could not recommend this place enough

Nous avons passés trois nuits au Green Bamboo House on nous avons été très bien accueillis par Sanath, sa femme et leurs deux fils. Sanath nous a proposé plusieurs excursions, il nous a accompagné ou gérer pour qu’un chauffeur vienne nous y conduire. Les petits déjeuners et dîner préparés par son épouse. Le cadre dans le jardin tropical était vraiment dépaysant.

Il fait chaud voir très dans les chambres

Un de mes logement préférés au Sri Lanka. Parfait, situé en pleine jungle, non loin du centre mais location de scooter possible sur place (en excellent état). La famille était adorable, j’y ai mangé à chaque repas c’était excellent, j’ai même pu participer à la cuisine. Je recommande sans hésitation

The area is really amazing, the small house looks so beautiful and I love the jungle flair. They made omelette for breakfast, as we asked for it, because we don't eat sweet. The dog is friendly and the family is polite.

The room was so moldy that all our clothes got so much clammy and musty, that we had to give everything to the laundry. There where three showers, one with a small heater, but the water that came out was only a trickle and not enough to wash the hair. The others where cold, one with enough water to get the shampoo out. WiFi was not really good working (we could not work online, neither watch anything). The highly praised food to order for dinner was okay from the Taste (no spices, very European), but completely overprised! Not nearly as pretty and loving as it looks in the pictures. And not even any fruits after for that price (1500 Sri Lanka Rupees each). Breakfast is 4 pancakes, if you don't like sweet, they make omelette - from one egg for each.
