Sigiriya Peacock Homestay

Basic room but exactly what we needed for our three nights in Sigiriya, slightly out of the center which we liked as we got to experience some of the restaurants in Kimbissa. The host family were so so lovely, we could not fault them at all, although some of their English wasn’t amazing they were so welcoming and the breakfasts and dinners were 10/10! We loved their little girl who came up to see us each day :)

Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et flexibles. La famille est toujours disponible pour nous donner les meilleurs conseils et réserver les activités . Ils nous ont sollicité afin que nous puissions voir un éléphant dans la zone de l'hôtel. Le petit-dejeuner et le repas sont très copieux et excellents. La grande piscine a rendu le séjour encore plus agréable. La petite-fille coquine est très mignonne.

Lovely people and good breakfast. Nice family feel. Mumma had good English. Swimming pool next door was incredible

Sometimes hard to communicate when Mamma not around. Walk to next door pool through a hole in the wall via a scruffy track. They’re building their own pool but need to do a lot of landscaping to make it as nice as next door.

The swimming pool and the staff was quite nice

The staff offered us a laundry service and they charge us 11kg. We cleaned two more time our clothes and it is only 4-6kg. We felt cheated.
