Everything! The beautiful pool, the restaurant with the gorgeous view, the nice chalets

The bathroom could be improved but was nice and large

Location amongst the lake and forest was beautiful and secluded whilst still being close to Lion rock and having a lovely view. Pool is amazing.

Needs a little control of noisy guests Some recommendations to increase comfort and experience: -small bar fridge - bath mat - stop guests using stereos at pool disturbing other guests - consider mesh in bathroom. Open grill lets in too many mosquitoes and creepy crawlies

Aesthetic, nice wooden lodges with air-condition, clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Hotel also has a nice and big swimming pool with a great view in a lake and an amazing restaurant. Best part of our accommodation was the kind and helpful staff. The greatest people I’ve met in Sri Lanka

I’m honestly quite torn about how I feel about this accommodation. In general, everything is as described in the listing. However, there are some smaller things that made the stay more challenging in retrospect. Whether these are deal-breakers really depends on what you personally expect from your accommodation. The property is located right in the middle of nature, which of course comes with certain effects. During my stay, I had rats in my room, and cockroaches found their way into some of my belongings that were not sealed or closed. Another thing to be aware of is that the rooms are separated from each other only by wooden partitions that provide limited soundproofing. As a result, you can hear pretty much everything that is being said or done in the neighboring room. On the positive side, the English-speaking contact person was very committed and did his best to address and resolve any issues that came up during my stay.

As mentioned above, there are some conflicting aspects that I find difficult to fully reconcile.
