Jungle Eco Lodge & Safari

I had an absolutely wonderful time with Kumari and Asanka! I have rarely experienced such incredible hospitality or enjoyed such an amazing breakfast, served in such beautiful surroundings. I also had the pleasure of taking a cooking class with Kumari, where she introduced me to her traditional cuisine. The children are lovely, too! Their son showed me around his garden and explained all the different plants to me. And I also booked an safari through them, which was so breathtaking. When it was time for me to leave, the whole family stood outside and waved goodbye. I almost cried! ❤️ Unfortunately, I can only give 10 stars – otherwise, I would give them so many more! ⭐️

Jungle eco lodge is tucked away from the central street down a private dirt road so is nice and quiet over night and is also possible to see elephants on the drive in and out. Kumani and her family are such lovely hosts, so friendly, helpful and make delicious breakfasts! The room was very clean, comfy beds, spacious with a large bathroom - nothing was a problem and Kumani helped us with recommendations and also escorting us down the road in the early morning darkness when we wanted to do the sunrise hike up Pidurangula rock Thanks you for such a beautiful stay 🌺 🐘 🙏

The hosts were so kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our short stay here.

We had the most fantastic stay here. The rooms were lovely, comfortable beds and hot showers. The whole site is surrounded by plants and gardens. The family are so beautiful and took care of all our needs, from driving us to and from the village, to offering to arrange a safari. The cooking class was a highlight of our trip so far and we took away lots of learning and also ate some delicious food. We cannot thank them enough for giving us such wonderful memories! Would definitely recommend!
