Such a view from our balcony! We had the family suite which was just amazing. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff scheduled an elephant safari for us. It's very close to "town" where most of the restaurants are though we had a car which made it very convenient. I would recommend a tuk tuk if you don't have your own transportation.

I am traveling across Sri Lanka with a private driver, stopping for a night, sightseeing, and moving on. The road is quite tiring, so my main goal was to get a proper, comfortable sleep. I specifically looked for a mid-to-high-level hotel rather than a basic guesthouse, and this place was exactly what I needed! At around $70 per night, the value and quality are significantly higher than most local options.
The hotel territory is lovely and full of greenery. The room was excellent: a comfortable bed with soft pillows, hot and cold water, absolutely no damp smell, and NO bugs or insects inside. They provided a mosquito repellent (fumigator) and three towels. There is a great veranda with a table, chairs, and an ashtray overlooking the pool and garden.
The pool itself is super clean. I went for a late-night swim to relax after a long drive, and it was empty and peaceful.
The service is outstanding! The staff is incredibly polite, from the receptionists to the maids and waiters. The restaurant offers both local and European dishes. I ordered a BBQ Chicken grill (with rice and salad) for less than $10. The staff kindly provided a corkscrew for my own bottle of wine and brought everything directly to my room.
Important note on location: The hotel is about 2 km from Sigiriya Rock. I highly recommend using a driver/tuk-tuk instead of walking, as wild elephants roam the streets in this area, which can be dangerous.
This is a perfect base for exploring Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks, taking in the city, and resting well. If I am ever in this region again, I will definitely stay here. Highly recommended!

Hotel Nature Park Villa offers easy access to Sigiriya Lion’s Rock, just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride away (arranged by the hotel for Rs. 700). It’s also a 15-minute walk to the main stretch of restaurants and cafes.
The room is basic but clean, though the water pressure can be a bit low. Given the lush greenery surrounding the property, mosquitoes are quite common, so bringing repellent is a good idea. Breakfast was tasty, and overall, this is a great option for a short stay if you're planning to visit Lion’s Rock.
