Absolutely amazing! Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka so far by a long way. Saman was the perfect host and his mother was adorable. Gorgeous location on the edge of the jungle, just 5 mins walk from Pidurangala rock, which we climbed for sunrise. Fabulous breakfast, we ate so well. Such a relaxing place to hang out when not doing other activities, but Saman was great at organising things to do, cookery course, slender loris spotting, sunset birdwatching boat trip on the lake, arranging transport for us. Absolutely the best place to stay.

The property is at a walkable distance to both Pidurangala rock and Sigriya Lion rock, which makes it ideal. The host was very friendly ane helpful. The property is a little isolated, but the hotel itself has food and beverages options. If you are walking outside during early morning or during dark hours, please beware of wild elephants.

Our hostess was so thoughtful and kind. She was a lovely gentle, caring person who spoke good English. We were able to walk from the house up Pidurangala Rock before breakfast. We could see both rocks from the outdoor dining area. Delicious food too.

Fantastic location with very thoughtful hosts. A relaxing, family-run guesthouse in prime spot between Pidurangala and Sigiriya. Comfortable room with fantastic breakfast and optional dinner. Nice range of beers on offer. Hosts went above and beyond to ensure comfortable and pleasant stay with them. Would definitely recommend 100%!
