The accommodation is cozy and beautiful. They serves different breakfast everyday. You could taste all kinds of local dishes. The food in their restaurant is also delicious. They also provide lots of suggestions about where to go.

Everything is perfect.

The property was lovely. It’s a kind of tree house where the bathroom is on the ground floor then you go up some stairs to the bedroom. Everything there feels very natural, you’re staying essentially next to a jungle. The room was lovely, the facilities all great. The restaurant was awesome, genuinely some of the best food I have ever tasted, and 100% the best food I have had in Sri Lanka. The staff were super welcoming and helpful, they made us feel right at home and part of the family. We left after staying 3 nights to carry on our travels but already miss it there. Nothing, everything was perfect.

Where do I even begin? Dinu, the host, set the tone before I even arrived, messaging ahead to make sure I'd be looked after at check-in. When I returned to the property, he was there personally to greet me, give me a full tour and made sure I had everything I needed. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and it genuinely made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another booking. The foot tap in the shower was a small but inspired touch I didn't know I needed it until I had it! Dina at the restaurant was an absolute gem. Her energy is infectious, always smiling, always up for a chat and clearly passionate about what she does. The food was incredible: generous portions that I genuinely couldn't finish, a different breakfast every morning, always with a huge fruit platter and every single dietary requirement I had was catered for without question. When roti wasn't available one evening, it was waiting for me at breakfast the next day, gluten free. That level of care is extraordinary. On top of all that, Dinu's local knowledge was a total bonus. He took me to off-the-beaten-track spots I'd never have found alone and sorted my early morning tuk-tuk to Pidurangala Rock without any fuss. The location is unbeatable too, just a stone's throw from Sigiriya with ATMs and amenities all within easy reach. What this host has built here at his age is nothing short of remarkable. He has the instincts, the drive and the heart of someone who is going to go on to do truly incredible things. This place is just the beginning.

The WiFi in the room was a bit hit and miss, though it worked fine at the restaurant. The A/C had a moment on the last day, froze up from working overtime in the heat, but a technician was called immediately. Also worth noting the tree house has a separate outdoor toilet, so just double-check your room type matches what you're expecting.
